"I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. There is zero project management, zero accountability for their work, and I don’t think any of the subcontractors they use have any idea what they are doing. They will hire the cheapest labor possible to do the work in your home, and it absolutely shows through the quality of their work. They began grouting the house with a grout color that we did not select. Then, instead of removing the wrong grout from the couple areas that were grouted, they attempted to dye the remaining grout to match the color we wanted. We ended up with tie dye grout over the entire house. The owners, Kayla and Garcia, will fight you every step of the way to get anything fixed. Nothing is ever their fault, and they are always looking for someone else to blame. They will offer to fix things, disappear for a week, and then decide they aren’t going to fix those things they agreed to anymore. What was supposed to be a two week project turned into a three month project. They finally agreed to replace the floor and start over due to the quality being so poor. The tile on our stairs was not square, the schluter edge was installed horribly, the tile on our raised floor was installed improperly, and the list goes on. They broke our fireplace hearth during install and it had to be completely torn out, they broke our backyard gate off the hinges, ran over three of our landscape lights, and left holes in our drywall scattered around the house. Nobody communicated with us when the tile removal would happen, and they just showed up one day and started removing all of the grout. They did not bother to cover anything in the house with plastic, left all of our closet doors wide open, and completely covered our house in grout dust. All of our dishes, all of my son’s toys, all of our clothes, just completely covered. It was a complete hazard to be in there at that point, so we left for a hotel for multiple days. None of the workers were even wearing proper ventilation while removing the grout, which is a massive OSHA violation. If you value your money and your home, use literally any company besides this one. They will completely destroy your house and take no responsibility for it. Update: There are patches of miscolored tile all over our entire floor that won’t come up, even with a professional cleaning. We are guessing the grout or some other product they used was left on the floor too long and ate away the finish on the tile. Kayla is of course, once again, completely unresponsive and useless in correcting this issue. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY."

"We had a great experience with Home Solutionz since the beginning of the project. This was the second quote and it was 5k below the other company. We spoke to Amanda and she was very attentive and professional providing recommendations and adjusting to our needs. The installation crew finished the job in less than two days with quality work - very impressive given the amount of sq ft that was covered in such short time. They cleaned up everything including my front yard. Great overall experience and highly recommended. Thank you! EDIT: changing my review score because they didn’t fully honor their warranty. I believe there was a change of ownership and you can see it reflected in the newest reviews. There was an area in my kitchen where the floor started to crack (this was fixed), one of the stairway’s corner started to come off (also repaired) but our living room hasn’t been fixed. It has been inspected by one of their installers and basically there wasn’t enough space left for the floating vynil to expand which ended up coming off by one of our rolling chairs (you can feel the flooring bouncing). We have another area with another rolling chair with higher use and it is perfectly fine so it goes back to a poor installation. We’ve talked to them a lot of times and they blame the changes in the ownership, some reps left, they’re claiming they have more of upset customers and we are not the only ones (which respectfully we don’t care). We spent 15k and months later nothing but problems. We are sort of giving up on this. I’ll have to look into other ways of fixing it so I cannot recommend this place anymore."

"THEY DO NOT RESPECT YOUR HOME OR CARE ABOUT YOUR TIME. Broke my light during install and never fixed it. Left debris all over my house and my front yard, left my doors and windows wide open, picked up the wrong order and blamed it on someone else. Terrible communication. Holds 0 accountability. I gave them so many chances to make it right and I just want others to know what they’re getting into before ever trying to work with these people. They also left out part of the job I needed done and I had to request modifications several times because of the poor attention to detail and poor communication. If you came home to the mess in these pictures how would you feel?"

"I was very excited for the install. However, tile was installed perfectly.. looked good. After careful inspection one tile was loose. Took 3 weeks to have it replaced. Installers did a very poor and unprofessional job on clean up. Furniture was left with 1/4 inch of cement dust n my bedroom. Noticed spots in tile. I paid for a cleaning crew to clean up. Was told spots could not be removed with mopping. Needless to say I hired a professional floor cleaning company . They also advised me that some chemical was used by installers to clean off the grout. Tile is still stained and was unable to be cleaned. Now I am stuck with a stained floor. Have pictures to share."

"Overall, we are displeased with the final product and will not be using Home Solutionz again. The final floor has crooked grout lines and what I feel is significant lippage in my dining room area which I am concerned will cause issues with my dining room table and chairs in the future. I had another project I was going to contact them for, but I am no longer interested and will look for another company. I would not recommend them to anyone. They claim they do 'luxury installation'. IMO they are average at best and not worth the price. For the final result, I might as well have gone with a cheaper company. The final cost per sq ft for tile install was $5.50 per sq ft (materials and demolition not included). The work was sloppy. The installer tried to blame it on the variarion in the starting floor, but the area where I have the most issues with the lippage was stripped to the bare concrete prior to their arrival and we had no issues with lippage on the tile we demo'ed. Also if there were concerns over the bare floor we provided, I should have been contacted to determine the cost to address it. I posted a dissatisfied review and Briana, their project manager, reached out to me. I provided her with photos of multiple areas where I was concerned with the installation and felt it wasn't up to snuff. I requested a representative from Home Solutionz home office be present when the crew came back to address my concerns. The 'crew supervisor' who i was told would be here was just one of the two guy crew who installed. This meant the crew used my remaining tile to fix errors in installation which included two broken tiles and a chipped tile. Since they had limited product and no representation from the Home Solutionz office, I feel the work to correct my concerns was left incomplete. On their return visit, they fixed the broken/chipped tiles and added some extra grout, but my concerns regarding the lippage and the crooked grout lines were swept under the rug. His solution to the crooked grout lines was adding more grout to thicken the line and make it less noticeable how crooked the actual tile install was and he claimed unless you can trip over the tiles they don't normally make sure they are flush with their neighbors. Perhaps this is within industry standards, but for a 'luxury company' and the price I expected better. Today I felt pressured to sign paperwork saying the job was completed because without it the installers won't be paid for the job. His words not mine. Given some setbacks that occurred, it is possible the crew felt rushed to finish the job to get paid, so perhaps this is not representative of the normal Home Solutionz product, but after an all in all unpleasant experience and dissatisfactory final product, I cannot in good conscience recommend this company to anyone."
