"I will say the first hair cut my daughter received here was great. Mine was not, I was not told before hand that I would be given a higher priced haircut for having “thick” hair. It’s regular hair. I did ask about pricing before hand and then at the end of my haircut was told that my “thick” hair was $ than normal pricing. I thought even tho my experience was not good my daughter had a great experience. So 6 months later we returned for her hair cut that was 4inch shorter with layers and they did a dry hair cut. I have never seen anyone cut hair dry without washing it first. Especially for how much hair she has and the type of hair. They also washed it the first time. There were also no layers. I paid almost $100 for 2 kids to receive salon worthy haircuts and we were better off at Supercuts. The entire experience was like it was an inconvenience to cut children’s hair instead of using it as an opportunity since they both have great hair that they could have put more effort and care into their cut and styles and given them the salon experience they deserved."

"Eve was so sweet and made sure I was comfortable with the length as she was trimming. It was so thoughtful! The salon is so cute and comfortable and I can’t wait until my next trim. Eve took me in at the last second which I’m so grateful for. I would recommend the salon to anyone!"

"Always love my time at Olive and Elm. Eve is GREAT; even though it didn't effect me at all, there was a little wait with the client ahead of my daughter and I. I was totally fine with it and willing to wait a few, but another stylist (Kelsey), shampooed my hair and gave me a complimentary hair butter treatment...which was glorious. Totally unnecessary, but SO appreciated. My daughter and I are low maintenance, so we were in and out. Love coming to smaller, personal salons and cultivating relationships with the stylists. Go see Eve and the stylists at Olive Elm. :-)"
