"This is a DISCOUNT GROCERY with dented cans, some expired products, some damaged items/damaged boxes at highly reduced prices. I had a lot of fun here finding things to get. They have dog/cat food and treats/products. Owner is extremely nice!"

"The owner, there every single day except for Sunday's since the store is closed, is quite nice, very personable, helpful always. I've become quite nice familiar with both the store, and the owner since November 2017, when I moved into the neighborhood after purchasing my home just around the corner from the store. Many bargains, occasionally stock can have a few items that may be dated. This is where the concept of, The Dented Can, may quite possibly origionate from. Slightly out of date, frozen before items expire, dented cans, open box items, all at quite the level of discounts. Pay half of regularly priced retail items. Guess what, this provides shoppers another, different choice. Shoppers please do remember this fact while shopping in the store, and your manners, and be kind. If you truly like the store, and items you find at great discount pricing, this really shouldn't be an issue. I only mention it due to the fact, on occasion, a wayward shopper will make fast work of picking every issue that is not 100% perfect. Hmmmn, recall earlier the mention regarding tolerance, and being kind? OK, I restate the obvious, these are not 100% perfect items cosmetically. Please review what costs at The Dented Can are versus your typical full cost retail store experience. The numbers might help one out in their own unique situation. "I've been coming here more than three years, since just after we bought our house 1/2 mile away. There are some great prices and the stock changes all the time. Sam, the owner, is friendly and talkative.. he's more than willing to help you find something if you don't see it. Wednesdays are the day if you like pastries, good selection and serious savings. Tell Sam 'Doc' says "hi" if you drop by, he'll get a kick out of it."
