"I recently moved from Nevada to Arizona and needed a new dentist. After searching through in-network providers and reading reviews I decided to give Avondale Family Dental Care a try and so glad I did! Catherine was the first person I talked to in order to get appointment set up and see about sending my previous full set of comprehensive X-rays over and she was great! She is also the first face you see as you walk in, and from phone to in person she was always polite, professional and a pleasure to interact with! Cathrine is very friendly and does what she can to make things run efficiently and smoothly. I've never liked going to the dentist(even just for cleanings) as it's just not the most enjoyable experience for me, but today at Avondale Family Dental-it was different. I thought that the entire staff here was great. I didn't catch the names of my techs/assistants; however I did want to mention that I had one who appeared to be training and even she was just as great-gentle, kind and fantastic if you ask me! Dr. Nguyen and his staff make going to the dentist enjoyable! I highly recommend this place for dental care!"

"Upon first call to schedule any doctors appointment is my deciding factor. When Cathy, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable young lady answered, I booked straight away. I was going for a 6 month insurance cleaning only. I't's a month that Dr. Huu did the cleaning, a filling and two crowns which I was extremely adamant about never getting a porcelain on steel crown ever again, after getting Zirconium crowns in Mexico. Dr Huu does amazing work, the two crowns fit and look great, they are up front so you see them. The color and fit are so good I have a hard time finding which ones they are. I will be back, you should go. He's not a good Dentist, he's an amazing Dentist that listens."

"SO I WENT TO THEIR PHOENIX LOCATION BECAUSE THE AVONDALE LOCATION WAS CLOSED TODAY AND THEY WERE ABLE TO GET ME IN AT THE LAST MINUTE WHICH I GREATLY APPRECIATED THE LADY AT THE FRONT DESK CATHERINE IS A SWEETHEART AND VERY UNDERSTANDING, HOWEVER I WAS ORIGINALLY GETTU2 TEETH EXTRACTED THAT WERE DECAYED AND THE NEW DOCTOR FOR THIS DENTIST OFFICE HAD TO NUMB ME 5 TIMES BE full CAUSE I WAS NOT NUMB ALL THE WAY WHEN HE ROVED THW FIRST TOOTH I WAS NUMB THERE BUT THAT OTHER TOOTH FOR SOME ODD REASON WAS NOT NUMB ALL THE WAY AND THEY WERE LITERALLY SIDE BY SIDE EACH ITHER SO I COULD NOT GET THE SECOND TOOTH REMOVED BECAUSE I FELT PRESSURE BUT PAIN WITH IT AS WELL I.DONT KNOW WHY HE COULD NOT NBE.CORRECTLT BECAUSE THE NUMBING MEDICINE ALREADY STARTED WEARING OFF ABOUT TIME HE GOT TO THE SECOND TOOTH TRYING TO REMOVE IT AND I HAVE NEVER WENT THROUGH ANYTHING LIKE THIS WITH EXTRACTIONS, THE NUMBING MEDICATION USUALLY DOES NOT WEAR OFF UNTIL LATER ON THAT DAY OR NIGHT WHEN IM IN BED SO I DONT FEEL LIKE HE DID A GOOD JOB WITH NUMBING ME AND WE HAD TO KEEP STOPPING BECAUSE EVERYTIME HE GOT READY TO PULL THE TOOTH OUT IFELT THE PAIN OF OT ALSO I FELT LIKE HE WAS RUSHING AND NOT LETTING THE MEDICATION PROPERLY TAKE AFFECT AND NOT INJECTING THE CORRECT AREAS ON MY GUMS BECAUSE IF YOUR EXTRACTINH A TOOTH AT THE TOP YOUNWOULD THINK THAT THE FIRST SHOT WILL BE AT THE ROOF OF MY MOUTH AND SURROUNDING AREAS I HAD TO ACTUALLY SUGGEST THAT WHEN I WASNT NUMB A FEW TIMES, I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND HOW THE MEDICATION WAS ALREADY WEARING OFF WHEN THE PROCEDURE WAS NOT YET FOMPLETED YET AND I STILL HAD ONE MORE TOOTH TO EXTRACT. I DONT THINK ILL BE BACK AFTER ALL OF THIS THAT REALLY TRAUMATIZED ME, I WAS IN SO MUCH PAIN AFTERWARDS THAT I HAD TO JUST LAY THERE FOR AWHILE AND ONE OF THE GUYS THAT WORKS IN THE FRONT WAS RUSHING ME BECAUSE THEY WERE GONNA BE CLOSING HE WANTED TO KNOW DID I CALL MY UBER YET AND WANTED ME TO WAIT OUTSIDE FOR MY RIDE I COULD NOT BELIEVE OTHAT OUT OF ALL THE PAIN I EXPERIENCED DURING THE PROCEDURE AND EVEN MORE AFTEWARD."

"As someone who “had” a phobia of dentists, today at this facility totally changed my perception. The entire staff was so friendly, they were so gentle with my procedure. They were upfront and transparent about pricing prior to agreeing to anything. Absolutely blessed to have found this place and no longer be afraid of a routine thing."

"Finding a dental office where I feel comfortable has always been a challenge. I called originally for a emergency filling that fell out. Catherine is such a sweet heart made me feel at home instantly. As part of the lgbt community being a Trans male they just made me feel so comfortable let me add I was also called by my preferred name without any questions or hesitation and answered all my questions with so much knowledge . The whole team is just amazing. I’m grateful to have found this office everyone there is just amazing .. Thank you doctor and the whole team for my great dental work and making my appointments pleasurable, fast and easy!"
