"**Lack of upfront billing transparency breeds distrust.** Trust is the cornerstone of all relationships including Dr.-Client ones. Clients want to know we aren't just dollar signs walking through your doors. An Ortho Dr. referred us to this Sahuarita office for our daughter's treatment plan. The Ortho Dr. requested a CMCT scan be done for that. No issue there, we have good insurances. We provided all that is generally ask for, including primary and secondary dental insurance (GEHA). Turns out the $195.00 CMCT scan is not covered by either of our insurances. That's not the main issue either. Gabby, their Treatment Coordinator, informed us after the fact, that we owed this unexpected bill. She then proceeded to explain in a condescending tone and body language that in her experience almost NO insurance Co. covered a CMCT scan. Seems she knew that from the get go and declined to inform us of that PRIOR to. That's a training and communication issue. We would have shopped other surgeons whose billings codes would cover a CMCT by our insurance if only we would have been informed of this [PRIOR] to services being rendered. To add insult to injury, Gabby hasn't mastered the art of grace or decent customer service when speaking with (not at), other fellow human beings. There appears to be at minimum a lack of communication and training between their front office and the back office, or so Gabby said with an attitude as to how they bill and who knows what information in their office. I hope that's the real issue. If that isn't it, then it must be a lack of candor and I refuse to believe that it is intentional misdirection on their part. In closing, we're not working with them because of the bill as it was finally waived by her with equal attitude. We're using another surgeon because of how she handled the overall situation. Be upfront about billing, inform the consumer for an educated financial decision and please return the same human decency you were provided with."

"I just had jaw surgery done today by Dr. Nicholas Cole for removal of exposed fixation hardware from an orthognathic procedure done about 28 years ago. I had a previous consultation with a different oral surgeon last year but did not feel comfortable enough to proceed. I went to Dr. Cole for a second opinion and felt immediately assured that he was the right doctor for the procedure. His surgical assistant Chayo was very professional, cheerful and personable and immediately put me at ease as she prepped me for my surgery. The surgery went smoothly and was not in any pain at all. I am home now, no bleeding, no pain. I highly recommend Dr. Cole and AZOMS and would go to him for any future oral surgery needs. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
