"Last weekend I went in to meet with my regular stylist Mary, (who is great by the way). The other woman there was in the middle of a haircut when I went in. As I sat waiting for Mary, I observed the other woman cutting someone’s hair. She was doing it unevenly and almost seemed to be rushing. Mary (who I understand to be a supervisor of sorts) asked the other woman (stylist 2 for simplicity reasons I don’t know her name) if she would do a deposit and and Stylist 2 stated that she’d walk. Mary expressed safety concerns for walking to the bank with that much cash but Stylist 2 was very insistent. Mary seemed to be trying to de-escalate the situation so she just let stylist 2 go. A short while later, Stylist 2 came back. Mary asked if she did the deposit and stylist 2 said that she hadn’t because she couldn’t walk that far. It seemed to me that that Stylist 2 was being insubordinate in front of me on purpose. She tried twice to ask Mary to take over MY appointment but I told her that I trusted Mary with my hair and I’m VERY particular about my hair she made a face at me almost a sneer. During the appointment, I’d asked Mary to style my hair in an extremely over the top style I was taking my daughter to a Halloween event later in the night and Mary and I had fun with making my hair a bit wild for the occasion and we talked about bringing my daughter in. Stylist 2 sneered at my me but said “I LOVE it” in the most condescending way one could imagine (she wasn’t aware of the odd request that I’d made). As I was leaving, I heard Stylist 2 mouthing off to Mary. I want it to be known that stylist 2 made me very uncomfortable. She glared at Mary multiple times. Insinuated that Mary and I were racists (without actually saying it). And made me feel like I had done something wrong. Mary did a fantastic job on my hair and ALWAYS does a fantastic job on my hair. It’s my understanding that Mary is no longer employed with Cost Cutters (I attempted to call to schedule my next appointment in December and I was told that Mary that Mary no longer works there) and I intend to follow her to whichever salon she goes to. But I will not be returning."

"I arrived on time as a first time customer, for my scheduled appointment a few minutes early, 1117 for a 1120 appointment. I was told that my wait would be 20 minutes. I don't mind a wait, as I understand issues happen, and would be especially understanding if I was late, but I was not. However when I heard my scheduled stylist ask her customer, "how much would you like to trim off the length?" at exactly 1120, I realized the stylist I scheduled with was just beginning an appointment, minutes before my scheduled appointment time. This completely invalidates the purpose of scheduling an appointment. My stylist didn't even wait for me to show up, and took another customer five minutes before my scheduled time. No apologies, just told I could wait "10 or maybe 15 minutes or choose another stylist". Very poor customer service from the get go. What's the purpose of an appointment?"

"Kris and Nichole are the only 2 that perm my hair. I live out by the airport and a drive the 35 minutes just so I can get my hair done. There perms are not to expensive and they last a long time. Thank you Nichole for doing my hair today. 02/27/2022."
