"Rushed and not friendly. Of course, as soon as I mentioned I'm not from here. She had to redo the screen printing over a few nails because she was so rushed. The design didn't match up, for 80 dollars there are plenty of nails techs who will do a better a job with much more patience and willing to please for less money. I had a feeling I should of walked out from the beginning. But I guess I'm just a nicer person."

"I've looked for a LONG time to find someone like Katie- before even living in Tucson! After my very first appointment with her I looked down and wow- it was the best my nails had ever been done! Finally! Someone who understands how to expertly shape nails, regardless of desired length, and is extremely knowledgeable about technique and nail health. AND she can paint/apply nearly any fun design I can dream up! I am in nail heaven. Katie is absolutely lovely, intelligent and interesting. I could talk to her for hours! Her private studio setting is immaculate, welcoming and relaxing. I couldn't recommend her more!"

"Do not do the pedicure or any nail services if you like more natural or shorter length nails. Lacking precision and confidence for natural looks. If you like long acrylics with lots of gems and decals this is the place for you! Katie also is very clean too! I paid for paraffin wax on my hands and never received the treatment. I spent 4.5 hours to have my polygel chip in a three days and my pedicure was chip an hour later. If the services cost half as much, I still would not return. I had high hopes based on the reviews. I wish I stayed at home and did my nails myself."

"Katie Cameron is extremely creative, personable, and professional - I would *never* go to anyone else. I've followed her to several locales in Tucson, and am elated that she has her own store front now at Retro Nail Bar. Katie and Retro Nail Bar are especially great with those of us with a taste for alternative and pinup styles, as she does (and has her own set of) the best stiletto nails I've ever seen. I come in with some crazy visions sometimes, and I never leave disappointed (see pics of some of my faves). She has a giant selection of glitters, and I especially love that she uses quality products, including 5-free polishes and acrylic without MMA (Methyl Methacrylate, hazardous chemical commonly used in nail salons). I have referred countless people to Katie and all have been very happy with her services - highly recommend getting your claws and paws done at Retro Nail Bar!"
