"I do not typically write reviews but I had a particularly bad experience with Kenzie from Kanab Coal. I spoke to her a couple weeks ago and we worked out a game plan. The delivery driver was supposed to come on Monday so I drove 4.5 hours to my property to be there. I called at 12 and got a VM. I left a message to be sure they were still coming out and knew how to get there. She left a message after I called that they weren't going to be able to make it. On Thursday morning after I drove back home, I received a call from Matt that they were going to start delivering the dirt. I spoke to him and the gameplan had changed where they were going to be delivering the dirt via a larger truck. He said the price was still the same so I thought great - more bang for my buck. Next, Kenzie texted me that it was now going to be twice as expensive now for the delivery of the dirt. I had already given her the address to base the pricing off of so I didn't know why now it would be twice as expensive. If there was a mistake it was on her. Anyways, I was annoyed and trying to explain my point when she decided to hang up on me. Very unprofessional. Didn't show up on the day they said, doubled the pricing on me and then hung up on me. I don't know how they are at 4.7 stars out of 5 on Google but that definitely wasn't my experience with Kanab coal."
"Good service! I do wish they would sift and/or wash dirt and seeds from their gravel. It's been two years now and I have more weeds than ever! And I've never seen these weeds before because they came with the gravel. Good prices are because they don't sift/wash the gravel."
"I had just 5 days to completely redo my back yard on my vacation home while I was in town and all the folks at Kanab Coal and Rock really came through. I cannot recommend them enough for the service and professionalism of everyone I worked with!"
"We have been using Kanab Coal for the past couple of years for our sand and Road Base Gravel. They have always been very helpful, on time and prompt with deliveries. If there is ever a issue they are very good at communicating with our maintenance crew. I give them a five star due to everything you would expect out of a small town business is wrapped up in one!
