"Nice office and the dental service was great. I am dropping the rating for lack of disclosure about costs. First, they attempted to charge a $50 co-pay for my visit, until I called in after verifying that my insurance does not have a co-pay for preventative services. They did refund that. In our case they are an approved provider for the insurance company we have but they charge rates for a different level of plan. I am quite certain they were aware of this when we gave them our insurance information and did not communicate this to us. We were quite surprised at the charge of $88 for preventative services that our insurance plan would normally cover. If they had let us know our level of plan did not fit in with what they charge, we would have gone elsewhere. They also pushed for us to have fluoride treatments saying that it is usually covered but may not be. It is only covered for minors. As someone who is new to dealing with insurance, it feels this place was dishonest and took advantage of us. If you choose this dentist, be sure you are very familiar with your benefits and ask questions if it doesn't seem right."
