"Had the worst experience EVER at Oasis Nail Salon yesterday. My appointment, made with Shauna, over the phone, was 4:00 PM. She reiterated three times, 4PM. I arrived at 3:55, only to find that Shauna had left already. The man (name?) started to do pedicure. His hand strength is very strong and my ankles and feet felt like in a vice and very uncomfortable. I asked him two times to not hold my ankles so tightly. I now have bruises on my ankles. And additionally, he nicked the skin next to my little toenail. The next hour and 10 minutes, were akin to being in a torture chamber! He could not remove the existing gel polish ( which Shauna had put on about 4 weeks ago) and alternately put my hands in acetone, scraped, filed, and harshly rubbed each fingernail. He used the metal cuticle instrument to scrape off the polish and also to push back cuticle. He was so rough and powerful with that instrument, that he cut the cuticle on two fingers to the point that they were bleeding! (when I showed him, he said that he didn’t do that!!! ). I noticed that all my fingernails had white streaks and splotches on them, after he had very roughly used a wooden object on them. (When he filed my nails, he also filed the skin on both sides of several nails!). He was going to do something (?) about the white on my nails. I had to tell him two times to just put some clear gel polish on them. I just wanted out, at that point. He put the polish on each of my nails AND on the skin beside several nails! Very sloppy job and extremely unpleasant also. When I was ready to leave, he grabbed me in a big hug and said over and over , “Not mean to hurt you, sorry, you ok?” I guess he thought that a hug and a few words would absolve the entire last 1 1/2 hours! Not so. . .this was the most expensive, most unpleasant, most painful and most UNPROFESSIONAL manicure that I have ever endured! I guess I’m a two-time loser, but I’m not ever going back for a third time! Won’t let me post without a star; therefore only one star. . .should be minus 5!!"

"I have come to this salon for many years. Shauna has taken care of my daughters and my ingrown toenails. We have been very pleased with her work and love the foot and leg massages too."

"I’m new to the area, and I went to this nail salon on Saturday 4/30/2022 at approx. 11:20am. The shop was completely empty. I wait at the front counter for 5 mins and finally a man come from a back room, followed by a woman. The man ask how can he help me. I tell him I just want a simple no chip manicure, and he says yes we can do that. (I walked in with a gel manicure on my natural nails). The woman, rudely examines my nails very closely, ask all these questions about my natural nails, just to tell me sorry we can’t do your nails, we take appointments only, no walk ins. The shop didn’t have not one single client, on a Saturday morning. But it’s fine, I left and spent MY HARD EARNED money elsewhere. I’m also a POC so I would never come back here."
