Duelies Sports Bar and Grill

"Really enjoyed our time! The musicians were incredible and we were able to spend over four hours there having fun and dancing. Only reason for the docked star is that while we knew about the cover charge ($10/person) I did not expect it to be on the bill subject to tax and tip. Since it was loud and we had waited a long time for the bill, I didn't carefully review the bill and left a tip for our group without realizing that the tip meant we effectively paid another $12 in cover charges! This is my fault for not reviewing carefully but I would suggest that the cover charge should be seperate and not included with the the tax and tip. Other than that, had an amazing time enjoying the UofA basketball game while also listening to amazing music. Great combination of a place!"

"This was my first time at this establishment. I love trying new places. It's the anticipation of whether our visit is going to be good or bad. Duelies Did not disappoint when I first walked the in. I noticed the band equipment and duel pianos right in the middle of the sports bar. But am I opinion? The main feature of the sports bar were the abundance of TVs. Every time I turn my head. There was a TV and that's what is sports. Word should be not to mention the 2 jumbo tron screens. That were super amazing! We ordered the happy hour appetizers specials. The basket of Mozzarella Sticks, chips and salsa, Calamari, and Everything French Fries! Every single food item was perfectly cooked and delicious! A shut out to our beautiful waitress/bartender Tanya. I was very impressed and enjoyed my experience."

"So. Much. Fun. The musicians are incredibly talented. It may take some time, but they'll get to any of your requests and actually do a top notch job performing them. I didn't have any food so I can't speak to the menu. However I will say the drink service was really slow and forgetful. Other than that this is a cool place to hang and hear tunes!"

"It was ok. I did enjoy the live music. They charged a cover of 10 per person, we did not know that till we got the bill. The waiter should have told us that before ordering. The bar girl was rude, making faces as I was trying to explain the drink was wrong. Expensive for less then an hour of a visit. We did not have any food and it was over 100 dollars. Not worth the trip."

"We were there on a very crowded evening. But our server did a nice job keeping up! The food was great! Burger had a nice flavor, and the seasoning on the fries was light and just right (its half empty because i ate a bunch before I took the picture, they were yummy). I also tried the blueberry martini and it was delicious. The piano guys were good, they played lots of fun songs, and were very entertaining and funny, engaged the crowd. The table and booth set ups are done well, with plenty of room for your food on the table and for walking around (not crammed in close together). The decor is pleasant and a little rustic. I will go again for sure!"
