"Today, I went to Phoenix Coqui with my sister Pam, and it was amazing! The service is excellent, the atmosphere is great, and the food is delicious. Speaking of which, I ordered today's special, which is the boneless barbeque ribs with chicken and shrimp rice and fries, as well as a pizza empanada, and they taste amazing. If you have never tasted Puerto Rican food before, then this place is worth eating. As for my rating, I'm going to give it a 10/10."

"I had their #1 selling dish. It's pernil with their rice ( I believe they have another name for this) small side salad. And their chicken empanadas!@@ everything was so good. This is the only Puerto Rican restaurant in the valley that I know of. They first started out as a food truck!!! So happy for their store!!! Come check this place out when your in the neighborhood. It will not disappoint"

"This is the place for Mofongo! I was assisted with the menu by the hostess. She recommended a bowl, once my food arrived I wasn't disappointed. It was excellent, especially with the accompanying sauce. I'm looking forward to another visit."

"First time ever coming here and they did not disappoint! I’m Puerto Rican and live in Tucson, there are not many Puerto Rican options in Tucson. So when my husband and I were coming to Phoenix for a concert I knew I had to stop by and we’re so glad we did!!! It was a 2 hour drive for us and I’d do it again! The service was great and the food was flavorful!! I really wish I could’ve ordered everything on the menu just so I could try more. Will definitely be making a trip back and will be recommending to all of my friends!! Might I add that they were PACKED and the food was still quickly served and it was fresh! They definitely need a bigger location because business is booming!! Thank you Phoenix Coqui, it really is such a treat when I’m able to go somewhere to eat food I grew up with, especially being so far from home!"
