"TBC is a frequent stop when in Phoenix / Glendale. The brewery scene here in Glendale is weak, and the beer at TBC is a nice stop for a few. Sours, IPAs and Porter/Stouts all available and quite good. The food is pub food. Wings, fish and chips, hamburgers, etc. It is all passable with some items like the spicy wings really enjoyable. Beware they have a good kick to them. Nothing fancy here but I come back each visit for the beer and a snack. Salud and provecho"

"There are some breweries in town that will charge you $16 for a burger plus another $4 for fries. Throne has taken the reasonable approach of charging a normal amount for a burger, which includes chips, or you can upgrade to fries for just a few dollars more. It comes out hot and fresh and looking like it came from a swanky steak joint. And you get huge portions. Plus the beers are good."

"We had so much fun here. The atmosphere was great, everyone was super friendly and helpful. Our server Nicole gave excellent beer option. We got fried pickles, a pretzel, Brussels sprouts, chicken tenders w/ onion rings and sliders w/ Cajun fries. Everything was really good. My favorite was the friend pickles and pretzels. The sliders on the pretzel buns were good, the bun was super soft on the inside and the meat tasted fresh. The only thing is I could do without the cheese sauce on the Brussel sprouts but it wasn’t a deal breaker. And I can say for the amount of food/ drinks we ordered it was very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back."

"The beer was excellent and the food was well presented and tasty. Nice to see a place still honoring Happy Hour and having a few darker beers on tap, but was told they change them out a lot so no sense in listing them here or you might be disappointed, but they have flights so you can sample. Their Chicago style sausage made by local company was not only presented perfectly with all the fixings but the pretzel bun was perfect for it. My friend had the Spicy Gorgonzola burger which was another work of art and also with the pretzel bun that raised it to the next level. The home made chips were a tasty and crispy accompaniment and perfect for dipping in the unique beer condiment. Was interested in possibly playing a game since they had a wide assortment, but all the parts were coming out of them and it looked like there would be little chance of finding all the pieces. What really diminished the experience was a particularly loud and foul-mouthed drunken woman sitting at the bar who lowered the entire experience from a congenial Cheers-like venue to a low-class dive--and not a dive in a fun nostalgic way. I trust that's not a sample of their usual clientele and I hope the help can work on some strategies for reining someone like that in so the dining experience isn't ruined for others.
