"I'm glad the hostess lets you know who the server is. BRIAN was ours, and he was the worst. I'm all for giving people mental problems or some defects, chances, but this guy , no way. His attention to service and detail was and is horrible! On a Saturday night, you don't pick a genius to work on a busy night. The food was mediocre, but his service was and is horrible. I think his interest is more in his tips. His attempts to speak Spanish are just as bad as his service, and a person should never use that if they don't know how to speak it properly. Fire him!"

"My wife and I had a disappointing experience at Applebee's. We waited a really long time for our food, and when it finally came, they forgot our appetizers. When we mentioned it to our server, he didn't seem to care and even said we never ordered them, which we did. Getting the bill took forever too. Overall, the service was really bad, and it made us feel like they didn't care about us at all. We won't be going back anytime soon. The food was good. But the customer service is really very bad. We ordered and he was totally refusing that"

"I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at Applebee's located in Laveen, and I must say it was an absolute disaster. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a nauseating smell of mildew, which should have been a clear sign to turn around and leave. But alas, we decided to give it a chance. The wait for a table was excruciatingly long, even though there were only a few people present. Finally, when we were seated, we immediately noticed the sticky table and wobbly chairs, which made for an uncomfortable experience. In fact, the chairs were so unstable that I half-expected to feel motion sickness while eating. It was a bit comical, if anything. When the server finally arrived at our table, we wasted no time in ordering, as we were famished. We ordered two entrees and an appetizer, eagerly awaiting our food. However, the wait for our meals was agonizingly long, to say the least. We couldn't help but notice that a table of six or more people who arrived after us received their food before us. A solid 15-20 minutes had passed since we were seated, which was quite frustrating. Unfortunately, when our food finally arrived, there was no sight of the appetizer we had ordered. We informed our server, who apologized and assured us that it would be brought to us promptly. But by that point, it was just another disappointment in this train wreck of a meal. My steak, the main course I had been eagerly anticipating, was nothing short of a disappointment. It was incredibly tough, and attempting to cut the meat felt like a workout that left my wrists sore. To make matters worse, the accompanying mushrooms tasted like a damp, musty rag. It was a complete letdown. Midway through this disastrous meal, the appetizers finally made an appearance, but it was too little, too late. The artichoke dip was passable, but the chips were stale and had the unmistakable flavor of being left out for days. It was yet another indication that the quality of the food and service in this establishment was far from satisfactory. There is simply no saving grace for Applebee's in Laveen. I strongly advise avoiding this place unless, of course, you have a desire to punish your loved ones. The combination of a foul smell, lengthy waits, sticky tables, wobbly chairs, underwhelming food, and stale appetizers made for an extremely unpleasant experience. Save yourself the trouble and seek dining options elsewhere."
