Sauce Pizza & Wine

"We we had a gift card for Sauce Pizza we thought we would give them a try. We typically go to Pieology or Mod Pizza. Sauce is not like either one of those places as you don’t get to see your pizza being made so the final result is very few toppings. Their base pizza starts at $11.50 and then per topping fee. The other places $11 per pizza and don’t charge for toppings, they are unlimited and I make sure they get them all the way to the edge of my crust. Overall I did like their gluten free crust, it was just the toppings we skimpy. I didn’t care for their sausage and they don’t offer ricotta. We thought we might try the lasagna in addition to the pizza but they were out of that at 7 PM."

"First, overpriced. Second, the tip that is suggested is ridiculous, up to 25% for teenagers doing nothing and not taking the order right. Third, for the sake of food please make it crispy if someone asks. You literally leave it in the oven longer. But of course they didn't bother putting it in on the ticket (again) they had to remake it. Waste of food for simply not listening. Why restaurants would ignore a request for "well done" then proceed to do exactly NOT that is beyond my understanding. This happens a lot here. That, to me, is the very essence of poor service."

"Long time customer. Sauce as a chain is wonderful. This particular sauce is always awesome, pretty fast, and great location. Branched out and tried a new dish from my usual and it was totally awesome! I would go here everyday for their salads. Their salads are one of the few I look forward to. Every dish tastes as amazing as they sound. I wish they would open one out closer to far east Mesa like around Signal Butte, Crismon, or Ellsworth so I could make that wish come true...so Sauce, please consider this my petition for a closer location:) 10/10 recommend Sauce."

"First of all has a wide range of Vegan and Vegetarian options!! CAPRESE BRUSCHETTA was well done and full of flavor. ROSEMARY POTATO is something unique and is not found in many places and intruded my mind to try it, go for it if you love potatoes or want to try something new. The thin crust here is really really thin!! Keep this in mind if you are going for a thin crust, this is not your usual thin crust. If you don't want a paper like pizza base then recommend to just go with a hand stretched crust."

"Love this concept of a walk up counter where you place your order and then they bring your food out to your table. The pizza was Excellent!!! Amazing thin crust!! The caprese skewers were good and the dressing for the caprese salad was really good! Definitely give this place a try if you are in the area!!"
