"New Pizza shop by 43rd avenue and Peoria. I’ve been waiting for it to open for a couple months and it was worth the wait. Today I tried an olive pizza and a chili cheese dog and it was amazing! Perfect crust and sauce to cheese ratio. The flavors of the sauce and cheese are on point. The chili dog was truly what I missed from Chicago. The owner spared no expense on the quality of products used. The prices are reasonable too! Worth stoping in and trying out this new spot. The owner gave us a couple chocolate chip cookies and let’s just say there goes my New Year’s resolution!"

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at this hidden gem in the area. My mom and I stopped in for pizza and we ended up getting some mozzarella sticks as well. The mozzarella sticks were great, but the star of the show was the pizza. I can confidently say that it was the best I've ever had. If you live in the neighborhood, you know the go to is always Sardellas, which is good, but this was so much better. Beyond the delicious food, what truly made the experience memorable was the owner, Tony. He exuded such warmth and hospitality, making us feel like welcomed guests in his home rather than just customers at a pizza place. He shared stories about his family with us and we even talked a little bit Chicago Bears:P Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to meet Sandra, Tony's wife, as she wasn't there that day. However, based on the inviting atmosphere and the genuine kindness of Tony, I'm already looking forward to our next visit to meet his better half. If you're in the area and craving a slice of pizza, Chicago dogs, or Italian beef, do yourself a favor and visit Gio's – you won't be disappointed."
