BUBB'S GRUB Texas BBQ

"I have no idea if the food is good. I left after 30+ minutes. Service was shameful and I'm not very demanding. I sat myself in the bar area after asking if I could sit anywhere. About 5-10 minutes later a guy who looked like a customer shouted at me aggressively asking if anyone sat me there, as if I did something wrong. Then he stormed away. About another 5 minutes later, a server came by and got my drink order. I went to use the restroom, which was outside, and came back. Another gentleman came in sat, got his drink and then his food order. I still hadn't had my beer delivered. Realizing that I wasn't welcome, I decided to leave. I will never return."

"Bubb’s Grub catered our event of 100 people this weekend. Bubb’s did a great job regarding every aspect of the food. I would highly recommend them. We had a self-serve, buffet of pulled pork, cod fish over rice, red potatoes, a baked bean dish, with rolls and condiments."

"This little place has great BBQ. We shared the family Trio which consists of their Ribs, pulled pork and the brisket. (2 sides) Check this place out if you find yourselves up here in Catalina."

"Homey BBQ restaurant/bar. Service was excellent and decor interesting. Our large group was taken care of by several friendly wait staff. Our request for separate checks was even accommodated without any negative comments or eye rolls. Bathrooms are located outside, which could be a challenge for physically impaired patrons. My husband said his brisket was just average as well as his beer. The fries were very good. Bubb's has very few healthy options or vegetarian options. I tried the side salad, which consisted of iceberg lettuce, 2 slices of cucumber, and 1 tomato wedge. Needless to say, it wasn't the tastiest or most creative of salads. We don't live close to Bubb's; so it's not a restaurant worth our drive."

"So I ordered Togo food, spent about 50 bucks between a beer and a three meat combo. I did this because I am about to become your competition. I do BBQ as well and you just confirmed that my business will do just fine. I paid 4.50 for an extra side of what was supposed to be Mac n cheese that was an insult to any plate of bbq. It was in a 4 oz souffle cup and tasted like pasta and butter . sauce. 3oz of flavorless brisket Chicken was okay Ribs that were not flavorful And some kind of beans that I was told would be spicy.....but eeeehhhh.... Anyway...I bought just to test out the competition and I an not worried in the least....I want all businesses to succeed....so step you game up...for a 5 dollar side serve something with 5 bucks. Revisi your Mac n cheese it is not tasty. Meat portions will help you or fail you. For 9 oz of meat total....50.00 is not value to your customer. I will serve a 2 meat 2 side and charge half of what you did for a 3 meat. I understat profit margins and this is a rip off to your guest. Have a great Day Que is what we do!!!"
