"Henry and Josh are the superstars of this location. They both are very personable and are always available to answer questions and provide inspiration into my next purchase. They are literally gold. I don’t know the owners names but they are super nice at the POS and always make me feel like I am important. This is LITERALLY THE BEST EXOTIC PET PLACE in SLC. We have visited all of the greater SLC area shops and no one comes close. These people truly care about their animals."

"Pets & Such is a great one stop shop for all your pet needs. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable and unbelievably helpful. It is clear they take stellar care of all species in their care. We recently found them as we have added two bearded dragons to our family. They have been amazing at answering all of our questions, as well as providing knowledgeable guidance on best practices for caring for our beardies. We have also found this to be the best spot to buy anything we need. All the way from crickets and worms up to enclosures of all shapes and sizes and heat lamps and bulbs of all varieties. This locally run shop puts Petco and Petsmart to shame. One small tip, it’s easiest access if you are driving westbound. "Third time coming here and it’s just like always—very knowledgeable staff and very healthy and wide section of animals to choose from or look at! There’s tons of birds (two weren’t even in a cage!), fish, reptiles, and more to see. Definitely would recommend for those who are getting into taking care of pets for the first time, they have endless supplies of whatever you may need."

"Our rats are adorable. The staff was very helpful. The only thing I'm slightly worried about is that they're both sneezing. I was told it could be to stress or our human smells/detergent etc. They're very sweet and personable, I am excited to see how it goes for us. They have a happy home with us. Kinda sad to see the tiny tub they all were in, but that seems pretty regular all around the pet market."

"Me and my husband absolutely love this place!! This place is by far the most credible pet store in Utah. The animals are all locally bread so nothing is imported. We have always have had a great and welcoming experience as well. Customer service was excellent and every employee asked us if we were doing alright or if there was anything we needed help with. The employees here are so kind and are always willing to help or offer help to the customers. Please keep up the great work and welcoming experience! I rave about how amazing this place is and we have even bought our first reticulated python with them. Their information they provide for their animals is always trust worthy and credible.
