Dr. Bates went above and beyond to help me get a surgeon to examine my ankle. After several years of 24/7 pain, it was determined that the CRPS was getting worse. I didn't want a provider that would give me a pain pill--I wanted to get better through different modalities. His knowledge base was astounding and he was able to explain things very clearly. If you want someone who is well versed in many different treatment options then see Dr. Bates! If you're expecting narcotics, don't waste yours or his time! You owe it to yourself to explore many options and Dr. Bates is the one to give you those options."
