"Based on my experience with Brindee Collins, I cannot recommend her as an attorney. Brindee Collins worked at Vial Fotheringham (VF) when they represented my HOA in a dispute over fees. The first VF attorney and I agreed on a settlement amount ($400). We exchanged drafts of the settlement agreement. Suddenly, the first attorney left VF and Ms. Collins took her place. I explained to Ms. Collins that we had a draft settlement agreement that just needed to be reviewed and signed. Ms. Collins would not acknowledge our settlement agreement. I tried multiple times to contact her by email and phone, but she never responded. Finally, after not hearing from her for half a year, I filed a motion to dismiss. Ms. Collins never responded to the motion, so a couple months later, I contacted the court. The court sent a letter informing us of its intent to dismiss the case. At this point Ms. Collins finally responded, asking the court not to dismiss the case and offering excuses for her lack of action. The court rejected these excuses and granted my motion to dismiss. I never heard from again Ms. Collins after that."
