"We had nothing but ridiculous issues since moving in to this apartment complex. They want to tagged vehicles bc residents pulled up when parking! I've never lived in an apartment complex that would ding ppl for pulling up to the stalls! If they don't want ppl pulling all the way up to the stalls, then put in parking blocks! It's all bc of a "KAREN"! We picked this apartment complex bc it was nice. Instead of managing the problem, the leasing manager is catering to the KAREN. As a tenant, I'll take my business elsewhere and not have daily dramas."
"I have lived here for 3 years and just signed another year lease. I love living in these spacious apartments and plan to stay here until I'm eventually ready to buy a home. The apartment staff is always super nice and maintenance requests are always take care of very quickly. Any time I had concerns, the manager worked with me. Recently my daughter got locked out of the apartment when her school bus ran late and the maintenance staff let her in. They told my daughter to have me call them, and when I called they said they just wanted to make sure she was home safe. Which I appreciated a lot. I love the Amazon Hub for my packages and although I live in apartments I don't have to worry about my packages getting stolen. The location is great and so many businesses are nearby which I love. The school district is Circle too which is excellent for us. I wish rent didn't increase so much this year, especially with Top Golf being a nuisance, but they are really only loud on the weekends and blackout curtains served to block out the bright lights. I have had issues with the gas stove setting off the smoke detector. There is a smoke detector right outside the kitchen, not 6 feet from the stove. The oven especially always sets it off. I can mitigate it by always turning the furnace fan to "on" position and running my microwave vent fan on high the entire time I cook. But the noise is annoying and makes me not want to cook. And if I bake anything over 400°, the smoke detector still goes off and has since I moved in. I suspect there is something spilled deep inside where I can't see that is causing it as my oven isn't dirty because I rarely use it. I took to using a toaster oven to "bake" and mostly making stove top meals. Other than that, it's a great spacious apartment and the staff is excellent."
"Great renting experience, had an appliance issue sometime into my lease, maintenance was prompt to fix the issue. All around great place. Management was very polite, especially Adam, any question he can always help. Very clean amenities, sad I had to leave but maybe one day I’ll rent from here again."
"I stopped by the Leasing Office a few days ago. Both of the staff there greeted me and Adam asked if he could help me. He was very friendly, upbeat and gave me a lot of helpful information. We toured one apartment available and other future options were discussed. It was a very enjoyable experience and I am hopeful that we can find the right apartment at the right time for me. Adam was a very effective ambassador for Stoney Pointe."
"We rented a two bedroom apartment here for four months. At first it seemed nice and everything but now at three months in there are some major issues to me as a renter. 1) one of the maintenance/cleaning ladies told me they have a policy that they replace any stained carpet from one renter to another. Ours was full of random red spots and a large spot that was crusty in the dining area upon move in. I’ve seen them rip out the carpet of three apartments around us people have moved out of so either those carpets had to be totally trashed or they didn’t feel a four month lease deserved the same standards. There’s also tons of paint areas that look like they were painted with two different colors and even places where it looks like they plastered and never painted over. 2) We are just hitting nice fall weather as of the end of October and they have us four days notice they were taking the bike racks to “winterize”. We asked them to reconsider as it’s still in the 70-80s and it’s finally not so hot out that we can even ride our bikes. They may as well have done it in the middle of summer. I can understand employees not wanting to do it when it’s cold out, but it’s still shorts and sandal weather and it literally took them not even a day to collect them. Now we have to complete monopolize our balcony, as we live on the third floor, with them and can’t even sit out there. Plus if we want to ride bikes, we have to hall them up and down three flights of stairs and we have two toddlers. If my husband isn’t home it’s basically impossible. 3) Our shower and sink drains are already getting super slow and take forever to drain and we’ve only lived here three months. I can’t imagine what they’re like after a full year of renting. Not to mention, if you look at the outside of the building you can see all the dryer vents full of lint. We always empty our dryer and even the one to our apartment has it. So they clearly never seem to clean them which is such a huge fire hazard. There’s only one entrance too so if you live on the third floor and the fire was in the stairwell, you’d be trapped. 4) There are so many wasps and wasp nest all over our building, the garages, and even in our balcony “shed”. They’re everywhere. We’re lucky we haven’t been stung as there were numerous times they were on the stair banister in the stairwell and my toddlers and I had to avoid getting stung just to get to our apartment. One landed on my sons head while we were in the pool one day too. They do have a nice gym and pool, but there’s no playground around for kids anywhere near here either that isn’t for a private neighborhood. Overall it hasn’t been the worst experience, and all the workers actually have been really nice and helpful, but I don’t know that I’d ever rent again here. Too many negatives in too short of time."
