Walmart Pharmacy

"I can't attest how incredible Dr. Cole, pharmacist on duty, was in a time of high stress and need. Rite Aid's pharmacy near me where my daughter's prescription was called in closed early on a Friday and is now also closed on Saturday and Sunday. I was able to get the Rx transferred on a Saturday and Cole was working the phones, cash registers and filling needed drugs. He was amazing on the phone and saw the Rx was for Albuterol. He checked stock and assured me it would be ready in 15 minutes. That's speedy fast for The Valley. Not only was he performing duties outside of a pharmacist's job description, he did it with care and happiness. Thank you, Cole for being a delight along with dedicated to helping others. It's kindness and attentiveness like this that makes stressful situations easy. I'm so grateful!"

"We had to switch to Walmart due to it being the only pharmacy in the area in network with our insurance and I must say, it is hands down the absolute worst pharmacy I've ever used! The knowledge of the employees (minus the pharmacist) is little to none about policy, procedures, insurances etc. Nothing seems to ever be actually done even when you receive notifications that it is ready for pickup so expect to stand and wait while they try to figure out where it is or if they even have it in stock. If you can avoid this pharmacy I strongly recommend it. Unless of course you enjoy wasting hours of your day going back and forth between your insurance and the pharmacy trying to explain to an employee what was told to you and waiting and waiting and waiting some more."

"Worst pharmacy I've ever been to. There has been some kind of issue every time I've been in to fill a script. This is not an exaggeration. Every. single. time. I've been meaning to write a review and finally got around to it during this 15 minute hold they have me on right now. They don't fill a script until you tell them you're there to pick it up so you always have to wait even if you called to see if its been sent in. Issue with the card reader at drive in pharmacy spot. Issue with them finding my insurance to bill despite having my card in front of them. I will be switching to a different pharmacy."

"This is by far the worst pharmacy that my family and I have had to deal with. We have been dealing with them for 2 years now, I have no idea why it's taken us this long to switch somewhere else but we finally made the change today and switched to Albertsons. It is unbelievable what a night and day difference it has already been.... The customer service alone has been amazing. We always had to deal with Walmart being out of our medications and being told that they would have it ready on a certain date then it never happening. Phone calls are made monthly because of this and then hardly anyone answers; they'll put you on hold and never answer. They are constantly out of stock on our stuff. Don't fill any of your prescription's through here... You are much better off going somewhere else."

"I have never had anything but sterling performances from all staff at the pharmacy. Everyone knows that they have to take a lunch break, so why would anyone come during that time? That's just rude! They are courteous, knowledgeable, friendly! I transferred from another pharmacy to this one and even though it is a drive, I'm glad I did."
