"Use to be a good place to eat. Went often. Not the case anymore. The chicken is dry and hard as sandstone. They also seem to struggle to get an order right. I often get regular fire which are really bland, when ordering Cajun fries."
"**Check your order before you leave** We order a half pound and a pound which comes with a total of 3 sides….we got a three piece, a pound, and one side. Pretty disappointed. In contrast to some other reviews, we were happy with how everything tastes but we spent way more than we should have for what we got."
"This chicken was as hard as a rock in the outside and dry on the inside. I’ve had it with the Ezells in Spokane because I’ve never really had a great foodie experience there unlike the one in Seattle across from Garfield , that I go to every chance I can. Can you please teach them in Spokane how to fry chicken and what it is supposed to look like when it’s done. I thought I damn near broke a tooth biting into a piece. Get some black people who know how to fry chicken instead of kids who know nothing about frying chicken and what it is supposed to look and taste. That's a big part of the problem.Golden-Fried Okra 1 Lb x 1, 8 Pieces x 1, Sweet Potato Pie x 1 Total: $47.47"
"My nephew told me about this chain and told me I was lucky to have it in my neighborhood. So I had had a busy day and decided to stop in and get an order to go so I could try it out. I have to say it was a pretty disappointing experience. When I arrived, I was the only one in the restaurant. Shortly thereafter, three people lined up behind me. The cook was obviously busy because there were several tickets lined up. I placed my order and stepped to the side and the cook started yelling at the rest of the staff to go get her some chicken strips and french fries from the back. The reaction of these three team members was obviously fear and confusion. They talked about how they didn’t know where it was at and they were asking each other to go back and look. They were not that busy at the counter, so it had nothing to do with being too busy. It quickly became obvious what the issue was. The cook was yelling up orders at them concerning what they needed to do and at one point she yelled at them to stop taking orders. Well they had taken the orders of the two people that were lined up behind me, but when the third person stepped up to place his order, the cook yelled “Cody, I told you to stop taking orders!“ It was embarrassing, and that customer did exactly what I would have done. He said “have a nice night“ and then he walked out. I was right on the verge of asking for my money back , but then I thought I probably should not contribute to the discomfort of the three people who were working in the front, so I took my order and left. When I got home and looked at my food, I was quite irritated. I had paid slightly over $20 for this so-called meal and it was obviously the bottom of the chicken strip bag. The order was poorly put together. And the whole thing was nasty. I didn’t even eat it. It’ll be a cold day before I return to this location. Worst customer service ever by the cook. The three kids who are working at the front counter, had nothing to do with the issues associated with any of this. The cook made a complete fool of herself."
"HORRIBLE...bland, awful, overpriced. We got 3 small tender combos and the pieces of chicken in one meal were about half the size of the others. They were out of 4 out 6 of their sides---we ended up getting mashed potatoes and BBQ beans (because that is all they had). The beans were about 75% thin soupy liquid with about a tablespoon of beans and the "mashed" potatoes were just bland, hard chunks of severely undercooked potatoes with a cold and pasty substance I can only guess they were trying to pass off as gravy. The food here was devoid of any flavor. Prices are exorbitant for such small portion sizes of poor quality food with a glaring lack of quality control. Ultimately we broke our own rule ....we didn't turn around and walk out when we saw only children working with no adults in sight."
