"Half head highlight with Rachel 1-16-24 I usually don’t do reviews, but wanted to save someone from having the same thought process as me. I researched Rachel, saw great reviews and noticed she had a higher price for a half head highlight than the other staff. Most of the staff charges $118, but she charges $140. I was thinking “she must be amazing since she charges $22 dollars more than the other stylists.” Well.. I arrive and she is sweet, showing me pictures of what she could do based on what I was asking for. I just wanted my dark roots broken up a bit with a few highlights. I have hair to my shoulder blades and she told me her $140 price was for “shoulder length hair” and my price would be $170. That didn’t make sense to me because I just wanted my roots done.. so the dye didn’t need to be put through the whole length of my hair.. so if I had shoulder length hair it would still be the same amount of dye.. but I was agreeable. Rachel then offered to add a few low lights to blend my roots with the rest of my hair which sounded beautiful and I REALLY wanted her to do it. Then she said it was $260 for her to do that… again makes no sense why the price would jump that much for a few low lights.. I said no, but then after thinking about it I talked myself into doing it because I only get the highlights every 6 months and I deserve to treat myself. So yes I paid $260 for all this :(.. To top it off, she didn’t even finish my hair. She had someone else wash and style me because she ran out of time.. I just found that so unprofessional.. The worst of it is, she damaged my hair, I have so much breakage where she highlighted.. she must of doubled layered my already blonde portion of my hair…. and I also do not notice those low lights that I paid so much money for.. I just don’t like my hair at all right now. She was going way too fast, checking the clock, and talking super fast about all the products and things I need in my life for healthy hair unsolicited. Side note: I use to see Jaycee, but she is no longer there. I miss her!! She charged $118, always did my hair perfect, and never charged me more because my length of hair was longer. I just think the facility should make sure their employees don’t take advance of their clients and charge them an excessive amount of money… I didn’t want to write a bad review about a specific stylist because that’s their business and how they make their money… but when I feel taken advantage of, had an awful experience, and also hate the hair that I paid so much money for I think it’s needed to prevent other people from making the same mistakes and hopefully open management’s eyes about the excessive charges that I find to be inappropriate now looking back, especially when other stylists do not do that."

"I recently moved from Denver to Colorado Springs. My experience in Denver left me very hesitant to try a new place, but I decided to take the risk anyway. Meredith was my colorist. I showed her some inspirational photos and stated my budget. She asked if I wanted a price breakdown before the service began so we could agree that what I wanted was in my budget. Something I’ve never had any other hairstylist do before! Meredith is super friendly and made me feel incredibly comfortable. She matched my inspiration photos and exceeded my expectations with the color. She noticed details in the images and thoroughly asked questions to give me exactly what I wanted. I am IN LOVE with the color! Meagan cut my hair and gave me the shag I dreamed of! She, too, exceeded expectations! Also, she was extremely friendly and attentively asked questions. Both of them did a phenomenal job! I am so happy to be returning. I can’t even tell you! Thank you!"

"Kelsey did my hair for my pop up wedding and it was perfect! I showed her a picture of the general look I was going for and she took it, made some suggestions specific for my hair and then ran with it. The end result was exponentially better than I could’ve imagine and she made sure every little hair was set as I loved. Even better, the hairstyle withstood the wind at my wedding and the entire day. She finished at 11AM and at 1030PM, it still looked perfect! I can’t have asked for a better experience."
