"I walked into this store on Thursday of last week because I needed a few items to do my makeup before a very important meeting with some investors, to be honest I love the products but I am extremely disappointed with the service I got! I walked in looking for some foundation and I would have bought whatever at whatever the cost if someone would have at least greeted me or even asked me if I needed help but nothing. I was in the store for 20 mins before I decided no one was going to help me and I decided to go look for help. Well little to my surprise I couldn’t find any one! This was an opportunity that the people that worked here could have made a killer sale off of me! I can honestly say that with my experience of it being the very first time in this store I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here."

"OMG the associate Tee was a God Send! I came in to get a color match for some foundation because I had a party to attend the other day and I was asking her which shade would look best for my skin complexion… She color matched me perfectly! Thank you Tee, you were amazing. Ultra has finally made a turn around with her in charge. Loved her for helping me! And I looked amazing for at the party. Thanx a ton!"

"I have come to the store in derby for many years now and I can just tell something has changed. The employees used to look like they loved their jobs and were having a good time. I used to get help from my absolute favorite employee Lucas but havnt seen him in a while. I had come in a couple days ago and had this lady help me, I think she said her name was T…. Anyways the way she was talking to her associates had my mouth on the floor. It was absolutely unprofessional. Please bring back the old ulta!!!"

"I came to review this place, because I love it. I get asked all the time where I buy my make-up. The staff is great! They never fail to ask if you have been helped or if they can help you find anything. They used to have a great associate that helped me find silicone based make-up. It is amazing. Either she no longer works here, or I missed her. Shame. She was totally great. The only person of color working there. They carry several major make-up lines. They also have salon services in back. They are huge on being clean & sanitary. They even have hand washing stations which is nice. Their store is very nicely kept. You won't find a bunch of damaged testers. Also, I think the manager thought I was a secret shopper, & she might get in trouble for something? I wanted to take some pictures to show how nice the store is & the services they have. I was approached & told they do not allow photos to be taken in store unless they are of yourself. I had NEVER been told this ever. No problems at all on my last visit. I went online to check to see if this was an actual policy of Ulta's. Nowhere in the multiple places I checked for Ulta's policies was anything posted regarding this at all. This is the only slightly negative experience I have ever had here. I normally buy a few hundred dollars worth of products when I make time to go in. I had a major trip to Vegas I was going to do reviews on. This time, I simply bought & walked out with a solitary bottle of primer. *Update* Not sure who Ulta's Google manager is but they ended up letting every single one of my photos post to Google after review."
