Grandpa's Dental Center

"I do this review just to provide the public with full information on this dental office. I would never presume to tell any individual how to proceed, but I was angered enough to post the first negative review of my life. First off, I would like to say that the dental technicians do a top notch job with cleanings. My complaint with this facility is 100% directed at the Sandy office staff (they have other locations that I haven't been to and this is not directed at those facilities). They raised prices around 50% for cleanings and never informed any patients of the price increase. I pay for my own dental, hence the reason I was going to this facility and price is everything considering the old equipment, long wait times and out of service facilities. The excuse that I was given rudely by their business manager was simply that they have the right to. My argument is not with the fact that they can raise prices, it's the fact that they do it and do not inform patients until after the procedure is done. The office routinely screws up appointments and leaves customers dealing with the problems they create. The wait times are horrendous and the service is not on par with more professional offices that are now the same price or cheaper (for routine cleanings, my only need). I would expect this if I were paying significantly lower then these other offices which is why I put up with Sandy Grandpa Dental, but now they are charging the same and often more. I would not recommend their Sandy office to anyone any more and will steer my family, friends and self to better offices were all is known before service and the equipment is new and working. You might pay more, but not much now, and you will get superior care. I would give them no stars if I could and if their business manager worked for me, he wouldn't be for long."

"If you are looking for reasonably priced dental work, this is the place. The office and dental rooms are no-frills basic, which I kind of appreciate. Why pay a ton more so the dentist can have the latest gadgets, when the quality of the finished product is the same? I am happy to recommend Grandpa’s Dental for senior citizens, especially. "The dentists and lab techs take the time to make sure their denture work is as beautiful as natural as my own teeth. They care about lining up the lower dentures with the upper denture. Less expensive on implants then most dental offices.. yet the work is top shelf. Appointments are close together. I did not wait more than 5 days for next appt..the staff is happy and they will work with patients with payment options. My dentures look like my own natural teeth. First time in 10 yrs.. I have dentures that do not hurt when I bite down. Call or walk in to speak with a dentist or staff member about what you need.. they are miracle workers."

"Absolutely horrible. I had an implant done in April with August as the time I needed to have my crown placed. Every appointment I've had they have rescheduled and it is almost October and I still have not had my crown placed. Even if you arrive early to your appointment you will wait up to 2 hours for them to help you. The staff is unprofessional and rude, they do not let you know what's going on or any of the procedures they will do to you. The assistant who attended me was eating. Never coming back and wouldn't recommend Grandpa's dental to anyone. Worst experience I've ever had."

"I have been coming to Grandpa's Dental for five years!!! I have never experienced any sort of disrespect or BAIT N SWITCH AS one review stated. I have had the utmost professional service. They are FAIR!!!! They are great people running a great business. They provide great dental care. I will bring my entire family and friends from Delta!!!!"
