"I recently had a disappointing experience at a nail salon that I feel compelled to share, in hopes of preventing others from a similar situation. I visited Honey and Sage looking forward to getting my nails done for Valentine's Day. I chose a specific design and trusted my nail technician, Jerrika, to bring it to life. Unfortunately, the outcome was far from what I expected. Upon a closer look at home, I noticed several issues: the designs were applied incorrectly on multiple fingers, my French tips were uneven and visibly crooked, and there was even a bubble on one nail. I had provided Jerrika with a photo of the design I wanted, so the mistakes were surprising and disappointing. Seeking a resolution, I returned to the salon to discuss the possibility of a refund so I could go elsewhere to get them fixed. However, Jerrika's response was both unexpected and disheartening. She refused to offer a refund and, shockingly, blamed me for not pointing out the errors during the appointment. This deflection of responsibility was not only unprofessional but also unfair. While I understand that refunds may not always be possible, the lack of accountability and the unwillingness to address the mistake professionally were unacceptable. This experience has left me feeling let down by the salon. The refusal to acknowledge a clear mistake and the attempt to shift blame onto the customer is indicative of a lack of professionalism. I had hoped for a simple and enjoyable experience, but instead I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. I share my story not out of spite, but in the hope that it might prevent future clients from experiencing similar dissatisfaction. It's important for businesses to stand by their work and to treat their customers with respect and fairness, especially when it comes to rectifying their own mistakes.
