"I have had a few appointments now with our IBCLC (Sarah Jane) and she has been a godsend. I was having pain while breast-feeding the first two weeks of our daughters life and Sarah helped identify causes for our daughter’s painful latch and gave us suggestions and resources to resolve the issues. She also did weighted feeds at each weekly appt which helped me feel confident our daughter was getting enough while breastfeeding. After each appt I feel as thought Sarah has given me just the right amount of new information/suggestions for the week to put into practice without feeling overwhelmed. Sarah also pointed us in the right direction to get paperwork completed so we could see if our insurance covered our appts with her (it does!) As a result we have been able to meet with her weekly a few times (still are!) and are seeing incredible improvements from all of her suggestions week by week. I highly recommend reaching out to Nurture Lactation!"

"If I could give 6/5 stars I would. Erin is my lactation consultant and we’ve now had 5 visits with her. She’s came out to my house every time and has dealt with my crazy dog while she’s at it. She has changed breastfeed from hurting and flattening my nipple, to pain free and my 8 week old taking in plenty of milk per feed. She helped with understanding tongue tie issues, gas issues due to latch, pumping size and efficiency, and more. She’s taught me exercises to increase mouth/tongue function for my baby. She has even gone above and beyond and taught me swaddling, burping, rocking, and towel warming 101. She is a babies for dummies lactation consultant and I cannot say enough good things!"

"We recently were discharged from care with Sarah and it's extremely bittersweet! When we came to Nurture Lactation my then 2 month old was gaining well but we were triple feeding around the clock and having to use a nipple shield. The pediatrician lactation team we were seeing seemed to think it was fine and normal to be working so hard to get him fed but I knew something deeper was going on. I am so glad I found Nurture Lactation because after the first appointment I felt so much ease! Sarah was so thorough in his assessment and in discussing my goals and giving an endless amount of tips and recommendations. "Nursing as a first time mom is very overwhelming. Lactation at the support at the hospital was hectic and sparse, so Nurture Lactation (Sarah) was extremely helpful and gave me a lot of confidence in the early stages of nursing that have helped me maintain good routines now. As a new mom, I didn’t always feel comfortable leaving home right away so having Sarah come to our home was a huge plus. I was able to be comfortable at home while learning.
