Toll Station Pizza and Grill

"Over the past four years we have tried every pizza place in McCall, none of them quite right. This year we finally tried Toll Station Pizza, we should have tried it years ago! We’ve eaten there 3 times this trip. The atmosphere is basic, but very clean and fresh. Not overly cluttered with “atmosphere”. The staff has all been so friendly and kind. We’ve tried every specialty pizza on the menu, some classic and some more unique. But all made well. The Wisconsin cheese curds are incredible and the classic burger is also great! Toll Station Pizza is by far a new favorite place to dine!"

"Let me start by saying that most of the staff is Very friendly. However, tonight I went in to pick up my phone order. When I was getting ready to pay for it, the owner came out and rudely told me that I needed to pay for it over the phone. Next time I explained to him that I was told I didn’t have to. I asked who took my order and he pointed to a girl I had never seen before. She Told me I did not have to pay Until I got in the restaurant. She never asked me to pay however, I had told her that I was a VIP.(locals discount) And that is when she said, I could pay when I arrived. He told me I was lying. When I assured him I was not. I asked who took . I looked directly at her and told her that she needed to tell the truth. He then proceeded to tell me that I argued with her on the phone, physically, grabbed my arm and called me a liar again told me if I was a local that I would know I had to pay . I said of course if it’s over a certain amount he said yes $25 the order with the convenience fee for takeout was $26.03 . I told him to keep his pizza. He screamed at me. This is why we make our people pay. I assured him that I had showed up to pay for my pizza. He was the reason why I didn’t. I should’ve called the police for him grabbing my arm, but instead, I’ll just let everybody know Not to step foot in that place ."

"I’ve been in search of a good pizza in McCall I have yet to find one. Toll Station unfortunately did not make the list. The pepperoni and pineapple pizza was not made to order. I requested well done. The ingredients tasted not fully cooked, cheese tasted funny, and crust tasted old. I was not impressed. Their fries however were amazing and saved me from starving quite honestly. Service was ok, nice gals."

"We ordered the Hiker's pizza. The bad experience started when we were charged a service fee for a to-go order without ever being told. Then the host said it would take 10-15 minutes, it took 40 minutes even though there were barely any patrons. Yet it's shocking the pizza took so long considering how few toppings were placed on it. The pizza we ordered said it included bacon, pepperoni, beef, Italian sausage and pepperoncini as well as an assortment of cheeses. The picture speaks a thousand words. There was no bacon at all and that is the skimpiest pizza we have ever witnessed. They traded pieces with the sausage and beef and the pepperoni and peppers were nearly nonexistent. Also, this is a LARGE? Very disappointed, wish we could get our money back and would never eat there again."

"A favorite for pizza in McCall. It is especially enjoyable to eat out on the patio in the summer. Chicken popper pizza is the BEST! Original and gf cauliflower crusts are great! The chicken Alfredo is great too! Staff is friendly, helpful and hardworking. We'll keep coming back!"
