The Narrows Steakhouse

"Lovely place to have dinner. If you can get a seat next to the window so you can take in the view of the lake. Tables and chairs are very comfortable to tuck in to and enjoy dinner and drinks with your loved one. Jordan was amazing! She was hugely attentive and accommodating! So much fun to chat with as we went along in our dinner adventure. At the end of the night she remembered that we had two poodles we were taking our leftover steaks home to as a special treat. She drew the cutest poodle on our take out box! Such a beautiful touch! We will be back! Thank you Jordan for being so fantastic!!!!"

"I hate to hate this place. The most money I have ever paid for consistently bad food, I am actually ashamed to say I have gone back. Couldn’t cook a steak properly to save their lives any of the 3 times we have gone. The menu is very limited, the dessert menu is awful (literally just put some normal damn dessert on here please) and the steaks aren’t even good cuts (when the fat on a steak tastes bad, you need better beef). We moved to McCall and wanted a good steakhouse to go enjoy someone else running the grill and this place just falls flat on their face. Would love to see someone who knows how to run a steakhouse, get in here and make some huge changes."

"Great food, cool environment through bit to crowded/little space for my taste. Nice view, pretty good service. They also have bread, thats pretty good for US. Prices are higher, but you get some small tasters in between included at no extra cost. I wish they offered non-US steak meat. I tried salmon and it was great. Desert was interesting."

"I ate here with a friend while staying at the Shore Lodge. We had a reservation on a Saturday night and were seated immediately. Our server was friendly and attentive. The bread service was tasty. I got a Caesar salad, and my friend had the lobster bisque, both were delicious. We split a larger steak as we didn't want to have leftovers in our hotel room, our waiter had no problem with this and even had the kitchen split it onto 2 plates for us. The steak was great and cooked well. We skipped dessert but they do offer sorbet between courses as a palate cleanser which is always a nice touch. If I was ever back in McCall and wanted a steak, I would absolutely come here again."

"Wow!! The Narrows blew my mind. The food was amazing, the ambiance and views were incredible and our server, Bart, was great. We had a fantastic view and meal. I am so glad I found this restaurant. The French Onion Soup and Surf and Turf were out of this world. Highly recommended for that special occasion!!"
