"This historic site and restaurant is a good place to stop. We enjoyed the pulled pork and chicken sandwiches. The tater tots and onion rings were crisp and tasty. It was nice to enjoy a cold brew with the meal. The decor resonates with the local history as a mining town. It was reasonably priced for good food. Noticed a lot of folks were coming in for their ice cream. The service was friendly and more than a few had a good sense of humor. Signs on the wall were fun to read and most were funny."

"Best place to eat in Idaho City. A group of us took a ride up there and the booths are nice and oversized, we were able to sit four of us with all of our gear comfortably, where we would usually have to take up two tables. The atmosphere was great, and the restaurant was very clean. The service was great. The waitress was good about joking with us, and making sure we had more than what we needed. We got there right as breakfast was ending and we were told we could have breakfast if we wanted, and then after we placed our non breakfast order, the waitress let us know it would be a few minutes extra while the cook switched from breakfast to lunch. Our food came out really quickly so I was surprised. The food was so good! Like best burger I have ever had good. Everyone in our group was very happy with their meals. I had fish, and I was delightful. The tots and fries were excellent as well. And they have fry sauce! It wasn't heavy either. Most of us cleaned our plates and didn't leave bloated. :) We didn't have to wait for the checks and it was just a wonderful meal. We all left happy, with full bellies."
