"We got a bid and scheduled Mike’s Mechanical to come to the house to change out the electrical panel, remove a bird’s nest of old phone wire, replace several light fixtures, remove some old track lighting, and finish swapping the rest of the switches and outlets downstairs from cream to white (after we had finished repainting). This was the third time Jason and Casey from Mike’s have been to the house for electrical work and they are absolutely amazing craftsman. They finished the work in half the time, even with me getting in their way a little to watch and joke around. Everything done by the [code] book. And as always . . . we are absolutely thrilled with the results. We have used three other companies for electrical work prior to Mike’s, some good, some quite expensive for the services performed. But we are going to stick with Mike’s for electrical from now on. Highly recommended. We also got a bid and scheduled Mike’s Mechanical to come to the house for plumbing work to include putting a recessed drain in the wall of the laundry room and cap off the water supply since we decided to take out the sink, troubleshoot a leaking drain line from the kitchen sink, replace the drain piping under the kitchen sink and put in a new disposal, and replace the vanity in the downstairs bathroom. Shawn (Sean sp?) was the plumber that came to the house. A friendly guy that worked solo and none of the projects were very easy. At the end of the day we couldn’t be any more happy with the results and we definitely got our money’s worth. We highly recommend Mike’s Mechanical for any plumbing projects you might need done."

"Kendall replaced our hot water tank expansion tank and pop-off valve. This stopped a slow leak that was filling the catch pan. He is friendly and knowledgeable. And he patiently explained the problem too me. We’re very happy with the repair. Thanks Kendall."

"I got a call from my 81 year old mother today 1/23/24 about Mike’s wanting to charge her $400 bucks to replace the condensate pump on her furnace under her house. Having been in HVAC my entire adult life I have some in depth knowledge of how things work. I’m 60 now. You can buy a quality pump for well under $100 from Home Depot and cheaper on line. I asked to talk to the guy and wanted to know what pump he was finding for the $275 he was wanting to charge. It was $70 plus to show up, $275 for the pump and rest was labor. I told him to stop ripping people off and leave. They charged her the show up for nothing fee anyway and left. She went to store and bought one for under $80 and my disabled brother was able to get under house and unplug the broken pump and plug in the new one in about 10 minutes. The last trip Mike’s made to her house they charged her a ridiculous amount to set up her new thermostat. They may have a pile of 5 star reviews but they are overpriced and apparently like ripping elderly people off. There is no reason any reputable company should charge that much for a 10 minute project, in my professional opinion, especially elderly folks."

Shawn, Mike, Casey as well as front reception staff always friendly. Did I mention they even gave me a discount? Good competitive price point. Swept up after they left.
