"At first I was nervous about this place because of the reviews. But we have been here many times, and not only are the owners super friendly, but the food is outstanding. The brisket is so moist, the sauces excellent, the pork ribs large, meaty and delicious, and the sausages are wonderful. Haven't had a bad meal here ever. This is a fantastic place for the Carnivore lifestyle/diet. We love this place. Never thought I'd say that, but I'm pleasantly surprised."

"Great service, super knowledgeable and helpful couple managing this particular store!! Food is absolutely delicious and very wide selection of down home BBQ delights!! My chicken sandwich combo was savory, the thick slices of chicken breast were so tender, very flavorful! They side dish I got was the potato casserole, it was served piping hot with perfect amount of cheese and other yummy additions! My brother got the Pulled Pork sandwich combo with potato salad meal. He enjoyed the tender meat, the nice selection of BBQ sauces he got to choose from, and said his potato salad was pretty good too-coming from him, a very picky guy, it says a lot! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars for the food rating is because my brother and I both agreed that their prices are extremely high for the combos and other plates. Also, our sandwiches needed to be served way warmer than they were. Of course my brother and I could of asked that our food be heated up, the couple who were our servers and the chefs, are very cheerful, and I'm sure it would of been just fine! The problem was my brother and I were time limited, and also extremely hungry, since we both missed breakfast; so waiting on heating up our food to wasn't an option for us-we had to be at at an important appointment across town, so we wolfed our delicious sandwiches down and brought the remaining leftover sides with us, Yee Haw! Overall, I would TOTALLY recommend this place!! I would recommend it to folks who don't mind spending a bit extra for the quality, genuinely friendly & helpful staff, and the down home Southern FLAVOR!!"

"The girls were nice and suggested the ribs that just came out... wow that whole meal sucked. Brisket was dryer than a shoe lace, the ribs we leather tough and then there's the price. When the total came out to $55 for 2 plates I was blown away because I knew it was going to be bad, but not this bad. Look at the photos"

"I'm actually a big fan of Dickeys. This location though is the worst! I tried to eat here last time I was in town and they had no meats done because they didn't prep them the night before. Thought I'd give them another try so stopped in for lunch. Worst bbq on the planet! All the meat was cold and dried out. Could not believe how bad it was. Probably explains why no one was in there eating. Never will I come back."
