Azteca Southwest Grill

"I grew up coming to Azteca and the food has always been great however the cleanliness was atrocious this time. Every booth had pieces of chips all over. I would somewhat understand if this was late after a busy day but this was at the 11AM opening on a Monday. Again, the food is great and the servers as well but there needs to be some cleaning done."

"Came here for dinner while on a work trip. I am a big fan of Mexican food, so I have pretty high expectations. In short, the food was excellent, atmosphere was just okay. I was seated quickly and given the usual chips and salsa. Salsa was great, not too spicy and the chips were piled high, unlike some restaurants that skimp on them. I ordered Colorado steak sauce, which is very similar to chili Colorado as far as flavor goes. This was excellent! A very rich and vibrant flavor. The beans looked very plain but were full of flavor, and the rice was some of the best rice I've had at a Mexican place. Overall the food was definitely worth 5 stars. As far as service goes, it could have been better. Not bad, just not super friendly. In fact, there didn't really seem to be that many people around.... The building was pretty nice--clean and modern. However, to me, the atmosphere is doubly important in a Mexican restaurant. From the mariachi music to the authentic decorations, this really makes a Mexican restaurant for me. This felt more like a hotel lobby with a few mexican-ish decorations. Not bad, just not great. Overall, fantastic food. I would definitely eat here again. The menu has excellent selection to try. Just don't expect the ultra-authentic, engaging atmosphere to go with it."

"Azteca is consistently good across all the states we've visited. The portions are generous and delicious. The service is always friendly. We especially appreciate that each dish is distinct in it's own way. At lots of Mexican restaurants, many of the dishes taste basically the same. The only difference may be the protein choice or corn or flour tortillas. But at Azteca the actual taste from one dish to another is a different experience."

"My experiences at this location have always been enjoyable. The service is friendly and the food portions are generous. Takeout is great and well packaged with salsa and chips. We have eaten here for four years and we intend to continue. They have started a new policy concerning chips and salsa when you dine in. You no longer get two small dishes of salsa or refills on complimentary chips and salsa. You now only get one basket of chips and one small dish of salsa."
