If he had checked before ripping our truck apart he would have saved us a ton of money. I guess this way he didn't have to pay us any money after the return. Find somewhere else to go there are honest mechanics and this one is not one of them"

Nelson's Automotive is straight-shooting, no upsell, and they captured a safety matter even I, being detailed, missed. Bob is courteous and runs a tight ship [he apparently took ownership of this shop in 2019]; his team efficiently tag-teamed a full galley of vehicles lined-up for work at 8am, prioritizing so customers waiting could get in-and-out. The front desk staff, whose name I failed to get, is warm and smart and her way of handling things and conversation brought me a smile. If you're wise, you'll make this your vehicle's repair home. "Visit One: My vintage Toyota Land Cruiser can’t endure anyone other than knowledgeable, competent, and careful mechanics. Nelson’s provided that at an honest price with fast turnaround. My Cruiser now insists he’ll not visit any other doctor. Visit Two: I'm happy to report that the Great Resignation dilemma facing many repair shops is NOT at all evident at Nelson's Automotive. Despite the fact that my Toyota is 30 year old technology, the highly-experienced team seeks and repairs the elusive problems and sources the vintage parts to restore it to like-new condition. There may be a slight wait to get in, but in the end, you leave with a solid solution and (in my case) a reliable commitment to work done after the sale."
