"Not sure why there are so many good reviews for this place. PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE GOING THERE. I wish someone warned me. We had an appt for 9:30 to see my rabbit. I saw the high reviews and wanted the best for my bun. We got there at 9:25, and waited in the waiting room for over an hour. The vet tech was eating spicy chips behind the desk and the smell quite literally filled the entire room (since there is no ventilation) and rabbits have sensitive noses/lungs so it was concerning. There was also ferrets and birds in the lobby too, which also have sensitive lungs/noses. It was burning my eyes so can’t imagine how it was for the animals. We let it go and tried to trust that the vet would be good, so we could maybe get past the lobby and the wait. If the reviews are so good, we expected the vet to be great. We finally got into an exam room after over an hour of waiting and immediately noticed the dirty Tupperware on the exam table that they wanted me to put my bun into to weigh her. Let it go. But then we looked up and saw water damage and BLACK MOLD on the ceiling!! Not healthy for humans to be in the vicinity of let alone animals! Attaching pics of the mold. We then heard the vet in the back, yell loudly “DANG IT!!!” The hope of the vet being great diminished in that moment and also the mold was the final straw. We walked out immediately. There was a sweet girl in the lobby who we talked to before going in with two ferrets and we warned her of the mold and said we were walking out and she was horrified and walked out with us. Overall very dirty and unsanitary. Not healthy to be around let alone work in- I feel bad for the employees who work in black mold daily and harm their health on the daily. I also feel bad for anyone who brings their animals here and doesn’t realize they’re poisoning their pets with black mold. The receptionist called to ask why I walked out and I was very honest. There was black mold and it’s not safe to be around for me or my rabbit. She offered we come back and they’d give us “another room” without mold… that’s not how black mold works. I told her no, we’re good. She apologized and I told her it wasn’t her fault. It isn’t, she doesn’t own the building. However, the vet running this business and not addressing something as serious as black mold should really be held accountable and make this space safe for his employees and customers!! Don’t come here if you love your pets!"

"When we needed a vet for our prairie dog, we were so thankful that Dr. Hardy was willing to see her. He was the perfect vet for us. He did exactly what was needed but didn't push to do more. We didn't want her put through unnecessary stress. Dr. Hardy was wonderful with her. We were lucky to find him."

"Very fair pricing and appointment planning was simple and not far out. Loved that they have a capable herpotologist on staff for my Ball python. Problem and symptoms we're resolved on the first visit and the follow up was fast and pain free. We are driving 100miles away to go here and will continue to do so."
