Super 8 by Wyndham Nixa/Springfield Area

"Absolutely do not recommend this hotel. We stayed here once before this time and it was fine. Somehow we ended up in the same room again so we had something to compare it to and I wish we hadn’t. Our curtain had holes in it and when i checked the other side to see if the holes were all the way through I realized how absolutely filthy the curtains were. There was hair on my pillow and on the toilet. There was a towel balled up in the shower. My sheets had gross spots on it and I was too nervous to pull back the whole sheet after that, so I ended up sleeping on top of the comforter which also had a hole in it. We didn’t have a choice but to stay because of the little time we had to spare. The floor had creepy red spots all over it so we left our shoes on the whole time. The lamps were dimly lit, just plain gross, and seemed like they’ve been through it. I’ve never seen a more dirty smoke detector before… The no smoking hallway smelled like someone had just smoked in it and sprayed air freshener over it. It was disgusting. When my mom complained at check out they told her everything was new and no one else has complained about that room, and they only clean the carpets a couple times a year. we will never be staying at this hotel again. The housekeeper on staff was very nice when i saw her on our way out, though at least, so she deserves a shoutout for being friendly, but other than that the only redeeming quality was how central it was to everything we needed it for. Very disappointed."

"Room looked clean and smelled clean. Comfortable bed. Did not try the breakfast, so I can't speak to that. We got the king bed deluxe room, so it had a sofa in a separate sitting area. My only negative is that there was no end table or coffee table by the couch to set a cup on. Could also mount a tv on the wall opposite the couch. Would stay again."

"We had a good experience staying at the Super 8 in Nixa. The rooms were spacious and clean, with updated furniture. We stayed there for a few days and enjoyed the wide selection of breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful too. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends."

"I attempted one of the alternative travel sites for a last minute room after I found out we would be unable to stay with our friend do to a family member emergency. So, with limited choices and the alternative site only wanting to process our request if we would opt for multiple convenience up fees, I stopped in to personally request a room. The hour was around 8 pm. To say the least, I was most pleased with the results. She gave us a great deal, much less than the online deal. She gave us an additional AAA discount. She was most pleasant and gracious. She looked up our prior stays and updated our customer record. Good job !!!"
