Honey Does LLC

"Oh goodness, where to start. I have been employed with Honey Does for a little over 2 years and have never experienced so much inconsistency and corrupt leadership in my entire 15 years of employment. The initial welcoming into this company was beyond expectation, but derailed shortly after my first year on the team. It started with the complete inappropriate severance of our amazing manager who worked tirelessly to build the company from the ground up. Not only was she kicked from the team without remorse, the "company" threw a "going-away" party for her that she didn't even attend. We were informed of her "unfortunate" let-go at the party. Don't worry, there was no shortage of snacks. Later, I was informed of the amazing opportunities to grow within the company as a "Leader" and it was announced amongst the entire team the amazing benefits that came along with this new opportunity. Amazing how I was apart of this meeting and had no clue what was going on? However, that $0.50 raise was definitely a bonus. Bummer I hadn't been receiving it. The job opportunities definitely didn't stop there. The constant promise of leadership, team work, and bonuses always kept us on our toes wanting more. Empty opportunity followed by empty compensation. For such a small company there sure was a lot of time for gossip.....oh, I mean growth. It's easy to pin "hear-say" on one employee when you are working the rest of the strings like a puppeteer. Unfortunately, this company does not have an HR department overseeing the tomfoolery happening on a daily. It's easy to convict when you are the judge, jury and executioner. As not one, not two, but five employees before you start dropping like flies, it really makes you question the integrity and intention of the business you are giving 40 hours of your life to. Just remember kids, if it quacks like a duck, and walks like a duck, it's probably a self-serving, inconsiderate, avid boss building a successful business off of the backs of naïve hard working souls like you and I. If you haven't caught my drift, this is definitely not the business to sink your hard earned money into. You definitely don't want to support the exploitation of hard working individuals who value their relationship with their customers, just for them to be blindsides on a beautiful Friday afternoon with a severance letter of fictitious actions made for the purpose of "Justifiable" dismissal of employment. Do with it as you will. This was just my experience."
