"After moving here last year, I tried for months to use this service. Each week my order would have errors. The lady at the desk was apologetic, but the truth is, the service is poor. I tried 4 times to use the online contact form, but never got any replies. You can’t call anyone who is actually responsible for your clothes and the lady at the desk gives excuses like, “they have thousands of shirts to do, they can’t pay attention to your specific instruction.” My question is… why are specific instructions an option on your website profile, then? After politely complaining on their website contact form, then complaining to the lady at the desk, I started sending my clothes back to be redone. Not even this got their attention that they were messing up my order weekly. Also, they broke numerous buttons on both my pants and shirts. The repairs take weeks and one of the repaired buttons came off in my hand the first time I tried to wear the pants after the repair. This is one of those corporate conglomerates that have bought up many of the local cleaners and ship all garments to a centralized facility where personalized service isn’t a consideration. Since they are the only cleaners near my house, I started using a family owned service near work where the clothes are done on site. No, the family owned service doesn’t have a fancy website with pictures of my dirty clothes and they don’t send automated emails to tell me my clothes are ready. But, they have my clothes ready when they say they will and the owner of the business actually hands my clothes to me and addresses my requests. Mayfair Cleaners is a good example of what has gotten worse in this country. They are the McDonald’s of dry cleaning, but at least McDonald’s is cheap! Find someone local to support while they still exist."

"Since I started dry cleaning, I would of never thought I would one day 5-Star one! I’ve been to many dry cleaners but this one takes the cake. Every time I come in I get recognized but my name is always mistaken because I’m not the usual John Keller or what have you! But I get a kick out of it, there have been a few times where they’ve messed up my order or something happened that made my white shirt marked with other stains.. but where this would of been a sore surprise at a different cleaners, Mayfair has managed to always handle it in a helpful and professional manner and I really appreciate that. They have the machinery at this location, so you can expect your items to be done in a timely manner. In fact one time I was in a tight spot and after talking with them over the phone I was able to drop off a uniform in the AM and pick it up in the PM so I could wear it the following day at a meeting! The work they do as far as dry cleaning is always of good quality as well, it’s the first thing I noticed when wearing my clothes after they cleaned it. It felt different, it looked beautiful and fit comfortably instead of starchy and stiff. In fact I had someone compliment me on my pants once!
