"Anyone that is considering a move I highly recommend PODS. I was moving but not sure where. The POD was delivered to my home, it took me an extended period (3months) to pack it as I was downsizing. They took my POD to their storage facility until I found my new home 6 months later. My POD was then delivered to my new home where I could unpack at my leisure. The representatives and employees couldn't have been more accommodating. The monthly fee was far less than traditional storage facilities and it was safely delivered to my new home eliminating moving my belongings twice. If every company ran as smoothly as this one America would be a lot better off trusting businesses to treat us kindly."

"POD was clean and delivered when quoted. Packed items up and had it placed in their storage warehouse for a month and when pod was re-delivered not a single box had shifted. Would definitely recommend over hiring a moving company!"

"I am not sure which STL local provider is to blame, but I do know that customer service was unable to get resolution from ANY of the local providers. I was expecting a POD delivery at our home this morning. Last night we received an email with a delivery window of 8:15-11:15 am. Great. I arranged my work schedule accordingly because I have to be on site for the delivery for neighborhood reasons. I got a second email this morning -- at 7:03 am -- that the delivery window would be between 8:15-11:15 am. Great. Super impressed by the communication. Thirteen minutes later, I got an email that the delivery had been pushed out by three hours, from an 8:15-11:15 am window to an 11:15 am - 2:15 pm window. Already, that's infuriating because I had planned my work schedule based on a morning arrival. Why bother providing a deIivery window at all? I called customer service and spoke with a wonderful human who talked to the local provider to explain that 1) I HAVE to be here to direct the placement of the POD due to the location of our driveway and 2) I arranged my work schedule around a morning delivery. The customer service rep put me on hold while he spoke to the local provider. When he returned to our call, he assured me that the local provider would call me directly to provide a more specific window so I could plan accordingly. The local provider never called. Instead, I got an email at 9 am that the delivery had been bumped to Monday. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!!! Today is Friday. Not only did this completely upend my workday, but I have movers scheduled for tomorrow. I'm not one to write negative reviews, but I am furious. Moving and storage is an industry that hinges upon excellence in logistics management. If a driver doesn't show up, YOU FIND ANOTHER ONE. Why don't you have contingency procedures in place? Drivers are notoriously unreliable. HAVE A PLAN! We've used PODS several times over the past 20 years and recommended you often. We will NEVER use PODS again. Let's see if U-Haul pulls through for us tomorrow. To be fair, the reservation process and email communications were impressive. I spoke with customer service three times over the past week. Each representative was exceptionally polite and responsive. PODS appears to have it together at the corporate level. The local level stinks!"

"Mostly well pleased with Pods service. Ordering was easy and unit arrived on time. It was a different story with the pickup. The pickup time & date were rescheduled 4 times. It was frustrating to have to deal with that. Caused my rating to drop from a 5 to a 4."

"Home Owners STAY AWAY. We purchased a home in St. Louis and upon doing our final walk through, noticed home owner was using PODS for their moving needs and placed the container directly in front of the garage. There was no damage at the time of our walk through. Upon moving in we found the gutters on the front of the garage had been severely damaged (see pictures). It is painfully obvious when PODS came to remove the storage container, the truck and pod backed into the gutter which caused the damage. The gutters are 8 feet off the ground and made of metal and were crushed like a tin can. We filed a claim with PODS which was denied. Their investigation concluded it was not them because "our driver said he did do it". I have reached out to PODS multiple times and left voice messages. No one will call back and we are given the run around anytime we are able to reach a customer service representative. I simply want my house to be fixed based on the damaged that was done by PODS. Update: 8-30-2023, PODS responded to my comment and requested I follow up with a claim number. They reiterated it could not have been them and would not be re-investigating. They stated, "if you want to contest our decision, you can hire an attorney." There is a reason this company has so many 1 star reviews. Do NOT use them."
