"I would not shop here again! I took two propane bottles here to have them refilled. One was about 60% full and one was 25% according to the gauges (Mopeka)that I have on them. I received the bill and thought it was high at almost $38. I asked the gentleman that filled them how much the price was per gallon and he didn’t know. I reviewed my receipt once home to see that I was charged to refill the bottles from empty! Even if they were both half full I should have paid no more than $15-16. At least I’m only passing through and won’t be ripped off by them again! Buyer beware and check your receipt before you drive away! UPDATE: I contacted their corporate office in Cape Girardeau on Nov 3, 2020 and received the following reply from Doug Gandy their VP of Propane Sales, “The dispensing units at our stores do not have metering capability so we are unable to sell propane by the gallon. We are required to invoice customers based on the size of the cylinder(s) filled (20#, 30#, etc.)” This was never mentioned when I went into the store. I have never had a propane cylinder refilled and not paid for the amount that was put into my tank. This company is not upfront and honest with the customer, so I would take your business elsewhere! UPDATE: November 11, 2020, the VP of Retail Sales, James Garner, reached out to me and refunded me $18.94 and stated that they would ensure that future customers would be informed of the policy prior to having individual bottles filled in the future."
