"Five months later still owe me $3177 for cancelling 2 weeks after I found it in loan. Car gone now. They keep saying they sent check to lienholder which I no longer have. Bank says no check received. I asked for copy of check so that I could take it to bank. Of course, no copy. I’ve written to Federal Trade Commission, Attorney General, BBB. I’ ve asked for check sent to my home but I doubt they even know who I am. Be cautious. Make sure, when you buy a car, that you don’t have extended car warranty attached. And the dealership I bought the car from should have seen that this money was refunded to me."

"They actually do pay out claims. It's not a awesome experience everytime but it's definitely not a scam. It's hit and miss when speaking to representatives of this company. I'll say that customer service can be misinformed of company policies. Quite a few are rude and make unnecessary statements. But I filed a claim and it was handled swiftly. The repair facility was approved to make the repairs. Around holidays can be inconvenient because their hours are minimal when trying to get a claim approved. But it only requires patience. I don't recommend having a covered repair done without having it approved first and by the repair facility. Also, buyers should beware of car sellers who misinform and misrepresent Protective asset protection. A salesman will always make things sound better than they are and some things they pitch about the coverage aren't true. But the coverage is real and claims do get approved. I've experienced it. So, they are legitimate in that regard."

"Put a claim and followed all instructions. Lots of back and forth and then finally they tell me my claim is denied, because yes I did need something fixed on my car but since they didn't replace any parts the warranty doesn't cover it. HuH???? Terrible company. I complained and tried submitting claim again and they just ignored me. How do you spell crook? It starts with a P. Update - I already submitted the claim 3 times and was completely ignored. Like I said, if an insurance company doesn't cover repairs on your car, what would you say it does?"

"Buyer beware I'd sell this contract back asap. I've been trying to call them for 3 days now with no answer no matter which option combination I choose. I'll update if I don't hear back and contact a lawyer."

"Be prepared to bend over and just take it. I handled my claim step-by-step with how they directed me to handle it. While the claim was being processed I received one clarifying email in which I replied with the requested information. Claims then went dark and would not reply to any communications. They failed to tell me my claim was denied through any mode of communication. They even had the audacity to tell me on the phone that certain parts that are IN THEIR COVERAGE BOOK we're not covered. It's a scam scam scam. I tell them I want to cancel and the estimate for my cancellation is about 60% of the contract value even through I'm about 10% into my contract. The math doesn't math. Would love someone competent at this company to actually be responsible and treat their stakeholders with respect instead of the Customer Service rep who told me they don't like to deal with their customers. If that's the case, time to clean house"
