"I have a family of six, four of us participate in Judo and 3 of the kids do Karate. Sensei Amber is a great coach and mentor for the kids. Having a large family it is hard to find an activity that is not very expensive. Joplin Judo and Jujitsu has a fee structure that doesn’t break the bank and allows the whole family (who wants to) to be able to join and participate. The monthly fee is for as many or few classes as you would like to attend. My oldest daughter does competitions, so she goes to practice 3-5 times per week. The rest of us do 2-3 times per week. It is very flexible. Amber works with each person at their skill level. She doesn’t expect me, who is older and out of shape, to perform at the same level as the younger adults. She is very encouraging and pushes you to whatever level you are comfortable with. I feel that Joplin Judo and Jujitsu has a great family environment with very skilled coaches and leaders."

We have set and watched many classes and the interaction between the teachers and the kids is amazing! My son is also learning so much and having fun at the same time!
