"I’m a patient at another Mercy clinic in the area, but my PCP has been calling in my therapy and labs at this clinic since 2022 due to its proximity to my home in Joplin. He personally verified with the 50th St. clinic as recently as a month or two ago that it was ok for me to keep going there for those as needed. Went by yesterday and was informed that they couldn’t treat me at that clinic due to not being a patient there. Apparently they couldn’t find anything on file stating that I had prior permission to be treated there or that I have been there in the past. Nor did I see anything on the website or in the clinic itself that there has been a change in office policy regarding non-50th St. patients. I contacted my regular clinic about the matter and they were just as perplexed. If your PCP isn’t at this clinic, you might want to give them a call beforehand so you don’t waste your time and gas money going here and getting turned away."

"My primary care dr failed to tell me about serious labs and to get me a treatment plan going for 9+ months. The dr showed no compassion she belittled me and treated me like i was less than nobody. When they realized they messed up they dropped me and tried to cover their a$$ in the notes on my chart to excuse their negligence. I know I'm nobody but they didn't have to rub it in my face!"

"Highly recommend both Dr. Bruce and the nurse practitioner Amy Buckner. I’d never been to a doctor in my life that I actually liked, or felt comfortable with, until I started coming here 3 years ago. I’ve struggled in certain areas with my health my whole life and they were never addressed properly by any doctors until I came here."

"If you want to go here for a general physical, it’s a good place to go. If you’re sick or need to be seen for something that can’t wait AT LEAST two months - you’re out of luck. They don’t schedule appointments less than two months out and all the receptionists I have spoken with on the phone have been very snappy with me (even if I have called to ask a question about medication before letting me speak to the doctor). Very disappointed with the level of patient care and receptionist behavior."

"I saw Dr. Dillingham and talked to his nurse who says the doctor rejected my prescription yet when I confronted him he said no he had not rejected it. At this time I would recommend Dr Dillingham however, keep an eye on your prescription refills and make direct contact with the doctor if you have any questions. Michael S."
