"I went to the leasing office address and a privacy invasion happened in my apartment. One of the management entered the apartment despite my wife shouting “DO NOT ENTER”. However she entered the apartment and ignored my wife. I went to the leasing office just to let them know, please don’t the enter the apartment if my wife is there alone, without any intention to argue with anyone. However, seconds later, the person who entered the popped up and the office and start talking to us in a disrespectful tone simply because we are Muslims and my wife is wearing hijab. I didn’t want to argue with anyone, but simply to let them know do not enter the apartment if I’m not there. any intention to argue with anyone However, the response from the lady who popped up in the office was “we own the building.” Simply she popped up in the office because she knew that what she did is wrong and now she wants to defend herself while no one was talking about her personally, but we were discussing what happened. This is a really rude statement. You own the building, but still, you have to respect our privacy, and treat us with courtesy. You do not own the residence!!! She’s aggressive, argumentative, and she treated us badly as if we were goods that she own!! This is not the first time the management deal with residence based on their race, you can check the reviews."

"Super loud and no privacy! Amy would pretend to help but I feel she has an Asian hate problem…. The place is right next to highway with no sound proof. Staffs are super rude. They would like to use their key to open your apt doors whenever they want. If you submitted an emergency maintenance work order, according to Amy, you would give them the right to break in whenever they want, which is ridicules!!! They tried to break in when I was taking a shower and said ‘open the door, I have the key’. They also don’t care about COVID, and when they break in they won’t wear a mask. P.S. nobody was picking up my emergency maintenance phone call, but they would want to open my door several hours later around 11:00 pm without a mask or uniform, even I shouted ‘don’t come in I’m taking a shower.’ The maintenance was also mad at me since I called the emergency hotline. I was very confused since I paid the service and now they assume I have no right to call that hotline. That policy is kind of illegal and they really should hire some law school student to double check on that! That kind of harassment is just unacceptable! Run run run and run away from this when you still have a chance! And to discuss what policy?! Anything that I didn’t sign, I would not follow! :) I will sue soon! My lawyer said nothing like that should happen in the U.S.. After the maintenance broke in, they announced that the maintenance who broke in to my apartment when I was taking a shower was the hero of the apartment! How pathetic is that! To your reply associated to emergency maintenance- nobody picked up the emergency maintenance phone, but a week later, two guys decided to come to my door trying to get in every morning during the COVID peak without their mask on. That’s not your proper way to treat emergency maintenance for sure. Your team is a joke! From top to bottom, inside & out!"

"The office staff called Jessica Jones did not help at all and rude. She directly said Yes to my question "Are you trying to avoid your responsibility (of helping resident)?" and hung up my phone. She did not care about your pet's emotion/health condition/death with their vague schedule of entering your apartment. She refused to do any more effort to provide you a more exact date of entering your apartment."

"I live on the 3rd floor and it has leaked inside my apartment 4 times. The 1st time I was informed it was fixed, it didn't occur again so I renewed my lease. It leaked about a year later 3 times in one weak span of time. I know there has been previous issues of leaks in other apartments so this is nothing new. I spoke to Ivory the property manager who I think was trying to be helpful but the response from corporate was insulting. I would like a follow up with corporate for a proper resolution."

"Update 8/8/2019: Amy came through for us and made everything right without any hassle at all. We have decided to part ways with EVO at this time; however, I would like to point out that since we worked with Amy directly things started to fall into place. She had a down to earth approach to our situation and listened to our concerns. We found that someone didn't follow Amy's directive which sent us over the edge of being reasonable and understanding to highly upset; however, Amy did make it right for us. I think EVO has learned a lot from our situation with our Shower/Tub insert and the problems encountered with trying to replace it. In the end, taking a reasonable and respectful approach when working with a situation like this and working with building management is a must. We kept level heads (while being upset) and tried to be as understanding as possible. With this I have ended my review with a 3 star. This is my overall rating for your value for the money at EVO IMHO. If you ever run into an issue just keep a level head and work with them and they will work with you. Update 7/29/2019: I spoke with Amy and we are assured this is going to be rectified and we will be taken care of for these troubles. Andy has worked hard with this and unfortunately they have had bad contractors. Amy is working on a plan for this. I advised the fact that they wanted to charge us $ or resign an extended lease to move apartments really ticked us off and she assured that this was it the directive given and will look into it. We are still upset but finally satisfied that Amy is going to go to bat for us and make this right."
