"This company has a terrible business practice and I would never recommend them. In fact, I'm sure there will be a class action lawsuit filed soon. They were dropped as a broker from a major carrier and all policies they brought in were canceled. They literally sent us a 30 day notice advising our coverage was in jeopardy. We had the misfortune of working with Leana. She was awful, but so was her "West Coast" manager who never bothered to address our concerns or return calls. They acted like we weren't able to get approved by a major carrier and had to go with a substandard company for more than double the price. I called our current carrier who told us they were ending their relationship with SelectQuote and the nonrenewal has nothing to do with us, but everything to do with SelectQuote. SelectQuote tried to make us believe something completely different. The current carrier told me we could apply on our own once the contract ended. I then called another company and a policy was written with no problem. SelectQuote wasted our time and caused us an unnecessary amount of stress and panic. Their dishonest and lazy practices should be reviewed and I'm strongly considering filing a formal complaint. You don't need the help of a 3rd party to get insurance. Don't use this company! In Response to their reply: this statement is completely false. I have the date on the envelope. They conviently left the date off the letter. Nothing regarding the policy cancelation was sent via email. It wasn't until we called in regarding the letter we received was anything sent via email and that was simply quotes and discussions for substandard policies. I had to send the agent multiple follow up emails asking if she received the requested documents I sent in? I also have all the call history from me calling in to speak with her manager or requesting to work with a different agent and never received a call back from anyone. She requested documents from years prior and we had to make multiple calls and emails to request those items. They were not readily available. We had to pay bank fees to get copies of checks, transactions, etc. This company collected thousands of dollars from us and when we neded them to actually assist, they failed to do it. I talked to Leana on the phone more than once during the process of trying to find additional coverage. You have no idea what's going on in your own company. You have deceptive business practices and your response solidified my decision to file a formal complaint."

"Part of a new Indian scam. Call for selling Medicare advantage. Ask for social and Medicare number. Then transfer you to liscensed agent. Meanwhile they have your info. This also gets around do not call list. Targets most vulnerable part of our population. No hq phone to report this to. Shame on you!"

Every time my wife brings up life insurance I reference your commercial. No one with basic intelligence is going to want to do business with you after watching that commercial."
