"Exciting descent 100 feet below the Ozark mountains! It is a 'verticle cave' and you will get very up close and personal with cave formations. The gift shop has to be one of the absolute best I have ever been to. I loved the history, too!! Great place and would highly recommend a visit."

"It's a small Cave but still very cool! The guide goes through the history of the cave beforehand. The cave tour takes about an hour but there's much more to do besides the cave. They have a nine hole mini golf and a small playground. We also played checkers. There's a trail with other fun stuff too."

"This was such a pleasant surprise. We wanted something to do with 4 rowdy kids that didn’t cost us an arm and a leg but would also expend some cabin fever energy. We spent close to 2 hrs at Talking Rock Cavern if not longer. When you walk up you immediately see a small play area for kids, they had put out outside and a closed in crawl maze for kids to experience what it’s like exploring caves. In the gift shop there is another crawl maze that my kids absolutely love and went through multiple times. The cave tour was so cool and we learned a lot. I loved hearing the discovery and history of the cave. Then we took a hike through the trails on the grounds up to the watch tower with fantastic views, took a photo with Bigfoot, and there was still more to do. We definitely worked out all of our jitters and it was the biggest bang for our buck. A MUST visit for families with kids."

"A fitting representation of the beauties of the Cave State, Missouri. This a vertical cave system that descends 100 feet under the ground and is decorated by stunning natural rock formations that look like artworks. They are an absolute feast to the eyes. Going down and up the cave takes about 265 steps. The steps are wet in places due to the natural seepage of water that chisels the cave rocks over thousands of years. The passage looks precarious at some places but very well barricaded and safe to traverse. The entire trip takes about 45 minutes."

"Great experience. The cave is beautiful. I have been twice now. There are quite a bit of stairs and a couple narrow passages, so keep that in mind when touring. The employees are all friendly and helpful. The gift shop has a wide selection of items very reasonably priced as well. The golf course is a lot of fun as well and is 9 holes and you can complete the course as many times as desired with one purchase. There is also a small seating area right out front of the building and a kids play area. Further up the hill behind the building there are several family game areas."
