"Great little museum with a TON of local history. Just being in the old building is cool, especially whey a train goes by. Had the pleasure of a personal tour and everything! Highly recommend!"

"As a long time resident of Lee's Summit and history lover, I decided to check it out! I absolutely loved it. It was so informational and I loved seeing how our city came to be. I will definitely be returning, I would love to spend hours there reading everything! They have so many artifacts and even a recreation of vogue theater. I also got the pleasure of meeting one of Cole Younger's relatives and learned quite a bit, even where his home was located before being torn down. I highly highly recommend and wanted to thank all the wonderful staff that works there, they are all great!"

"This is a hidden treasure of history and displayed antiques that bring the life of how Lee's Summit came to be. Allow time to read the personal stories and then even sit in a sectional of the original "Vogue Theater" while watching some collections of filmed footage of years gone by. If the front stairs are keeping you from going to visit, try the back walkway and door for easier entrance. There is also a country store (small room), that you can purchase some of the stories that are put to print. Photographing exhibits are mostly not allowed. Make sure to sign the guest book before you leave. Entrance fee is by donation."
