"Went to a supposed Killer Instinct dealer in KC, only to be disappointed and nowhere to be found, I called 54 Shooters Supply, explained what was going with my crossbow, let him know I was on my way, had me fixed up and ready to hunt again in less than 20 minutes. I will go a little out of my way to come back!!!"

"I have to share my experience with this shop. My son and I are in the process of getting into bow hunting. He is 10 and we are doing our home work to make the right choices. We are from Southern Oregon and are visiting family here in Nevada. We visited 54 shooters early in the morning and was greeted by the farther of the owner. Great interaction and customer service from the father. The owner(son) was suppose to be there at noon which could help with any questions or set a a bow to shoot. As stated from the father he was not a bow tech and knew just enough to be dangerous. With that being said we left with the plan of coming back when the owner was in. We returned and was greeted by the father and seemed good. My son really wanted to shoot their youth bow, and I wanted to Shoot the New Hoyt Ventom pro 33. We went into the bow side of the store and started to look around. At that point the owner came over and finally greeted us and asked if we needed any help. I shared with him what we were looking at and we decided to have him setup a bow for me to shoot. At this point he pulled the bow down set it in a stand and went in the other room. We waited for another 15 minutes and he never came back. No word no communication in regards to what was going on. After waiting this long my son was asking me if the owner was coming back. ???? At this point I decided to leave. We walked in the other room the owner was working on a rifle for another customer, with no eye contact or even acknowledgement of us waiting or anything. The father asked me if i was planning on buying a bow for my son I replied , "no". Still nothing from the owner. I am sharing this because this was probably one of the worst experiences I have had in a sports shop like this especially considering I am wanting to expose my son to bow hunting. The sad thing is I was considering buying a bow from this shop and shipping it back to Oregon. I would not buy a bow from this shop nor recommend the shop to anyone."
