"Dr Ausmus has been my doctor since I was in my mid twenties. My husband followed me there after we got married! Ausmus is the best doctor ever! He and the other doctors get FIVE stars! God bless Ausmus as he is retiring! The one star goes the triage nurses that answer the phones for the doctors. They take the decisions of the doctors and decide on their own what a patient needs or deserves, how soon or how long they want to make them wait. And GOD FORBID if you take pain meds as maintenance (prescribed by said doctor)! The nurses will be prejudiced against you for any controlled substance! So if you need a great doctor, they have them at St. Luke’s! If you’re prescribed pain meds, be prepared to have the nurses treat you like a drug addict! And never answer your calls to have your meds refilled, to argue with you about when they can be filled, or to just tell you when you know your script should be refilled, “Call back Monday!”"

"I had an appointment with Dr Afsheen Patel, who is my primary care doctor... I asked her about a few personal things and at the end of the visit she told me to come back to see her when I want to take pharmaceutical pills. I found this to be very rude as well as unprofessional! But maybe it isn't because doctors are primarily taught pharmaceutical medicine. I think it is very important to listen to the patient and see if there is other ways to go about things rather than shoving pills in their mouth and sending them away in 5 minutes. I was initially thinking before this appointment that I would switch my children over to her as their PCP, but upon seeing her at this visit I definitely am not interested. Pretty sure I'm going to be switching PCP. The web address cannot be found. Is there a telephone number to call?"

"Like others here - days before my appointment with nurse practitioner for a new patient annual physical I had a voice mail to call and reschedule due to him not being available. This was after a two month wait. When i called to reschedule was given a new date months out. When I stated that the nurse canceled and that it was unacceptable to go that far out i was told that they would show that I canceled. As I tried to understand that I was the one who canceled the scheduler hung up on me and I have no recourse - I have no one i can message in the portal. Simply tacky and rude folks"

"The staff at St Luke’s Primary Care gives the best service in town! When I’m calling to make an appointment, the staff is patient, kind, friendly and accommodating. I just talked to Della today in the billing office and she was super friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating as well. You don’t see service like this too much these days. It is refreshing and impressive. Thank you to the staff at St Luke’s Primary Care!"

"PATIENTS BEWARE! Shame on St. Lukes. I waited 5 months for my scheduled appointment with Crystal Brown-Vredenburg, then the doctor canceled just days before. Then they wanted to reschedule for next year. Next year??? I thought they were joking. I asked then what assurances I would have if I rescheduled the appointment. St. Lukes's said there is no guarantee any of their doctors will keep an appointment. How is this ethical behavior in the medical profession? Very disappointed."
